Herschel Fifteen Waist Pack

This is the largest cutest hip pack I ever got! It’s so large that I can keep my phone a bagel and at least two more snacks inside of it without the bag showing that it’s full. It’s a nice neutral gray which works well with most outfits. Good quality and very easy to use. The strap is a bit annoying because I need to tighten it quite a lot and even pulling the fastener to the end of the strap, there’s still extra which is just hanging around. Probably can fix with a rubber band or elastic, but not the most convenient for small people :( another con is that there’s just one pocket so I can’t keep anything important in a separate pocket to keep the, separate. On the other hand, it’s pretty comfortable and sits well wearing it on my hip or across my chest.Very good price for the good quality and performance. I use it very often and it has yet to get worn out. Much better than lululemons and cheaper at that.

I love this waist pack! I originally purchased it planning to use it only on visits to amusement parks and fun outings when carrying a purse isn't practical but I recently had a surgery that has left me feeling dizzy/unsteady when walking so I have been using this Herschel Fifteen Waist Pack to free up my hands and lighten the load for easier walking. I've been using it daily for 2 weeks now and it's making me want to ditch my purse. It's big enough to carry all of my daily essentials (zippered credit card wallet, Samsung Note 9 with case, lip balm, keys, nail clippers, 2 masks, some girlie items, my son's candy) and still have a bit of extra room. It's easy to clip around my waist for walking around the store or just sling onto my shoulder when carrying it inside the house. The clip is big enough to feel sturdy but not so big that it's an attention grabber. The zipper doesn't unzip quite as smoothly as I had expected it to but it's not bad enough to be a deal breaker. The leather string on the zipper pull has come off a couple of times but luckily I've caught it and tied it back on. (It did come with a spare leather string.) That string is pretty handy to have on there because it makes grabbing the zipper pull that much easier. I ordered the dusty rose color because it's gorgeous, can be coordinated with many of the items in my wardrobe and I'm hoping it won't show dirt if/when it finally gets a bit dirty. It does have a plastic clip that is intended to hold the extra length of the belt that works relatively well. The extra length of belt does escape the clip from time to time but I expected that. Overall, the waist pack is great! I would order another one.

I ordered this fanny pack for a quick walk or a quick errand bag. I noticed it has a very long strap that you can adjust. Which is good in my opinion. Bigger people can definitely wear this due to the adjustable strap. The one I ordered came in a bit darker/duller color than I expected but I actually preferred it so it won’t show the dirty spots if ever. I have used this several times and it turns out out to be very comfortable to wear. It’s not heavy at all nor does it sag. Since this bag is on the smaller side, I only put my medium size wallet and my iPhone XS Max. It still looks like I can fit other stuff in there so it is roomy. I have not packed it all up but I can tell it fits a lot more. My only issue is the zipper. It does run smooth but it seems to be very rough. On my longer wallet I feel like the zipper will scratch the wallet material if it keeps rubbing on the zipper when I pull it out and put it back in. So I had to switch to a smaller wallet to avoid that.This bag is good for quick grocery runs and walks for sure. Don’t let the size fool you it can hold a lot.

Herschel is known for high quality backpacks and bags and this waist pack is just that. It is very well made with a beautiful striped lining and heavy canvas exterior. I am a special education teacher and often go to P.E. and recess with my students and needed something for my cellphone and this is the perfect size. It will hold a large cellphone (iPhone 14 Pro Max), keys, lip gloss, and pack of tissues. I have used it daily for a few months and it still looks like new and the zipper and clasp still works well. I anticipate this will last a long time! I will update the review if anything changes.

Great price point, minimial style (I got the black fabric, gold zipper), functional as advertised for your essentials and some small extras, I like that it comes with a plastic piece to hold the excess length of strap on place as opposed to letting it flop around. Wearing it cross-body feels pretty secure when the bag is across your chest. So easy to access your essentials and be handsfree, especially nice to access in a porta potty situation.I ended up keeping this but was going to return it and look again for a used alternative (from the luxury pretend-like-i-do-yoga brand) because the strap is quite uncomfortable against bare skin and I hear the luxury brand is very soft and comfortable. I figure I'll use this even more during hoody season so I can suffer the effects of the uncomfortable strap for the last bit of the summer.I was also disappointing because I saw a review somewhere saying that they were able to fit a water bottle in it. You cannot.. unless that's the only thing you awkwardly stuff in there diagonally. I thought it would be a big perk if I was able to stow away a bottle every now and then.

This is my second purchase of this item. My first one the zipper broke after using it everyday for a couple of years. I'm noticing on this one the zipper has already started to wear down in the same place as the first one did. It seems like it might be a flaw in the design. However, besides that the bag is great. It's small but holds everything I need it too. It matches all my outfits and is good for traveling. I love not having a heavy purse on my shoulder all the time.
