Being short means either using a step stool or climbing up onto counters to reach items high up on shelves. The Grabber Reacher Tool is great for grabbing those hard to reach items while keeping your feet on the floor. I like that it is lightweight making it easy to hold and the handle doesn't take much pressure to squeeze. The grabbing claw rotates and locks into place so you can choose the direction you want grab an item. Rotating it the same direction as the handle makes for easier storage. It is sturdy enough to hold most household items (probably not going to hold something overly heavy though). I have found it useful to help get things high up on shelves and also things dropped behind furniture.

Great for picking up stuff and not hurt your back or to be more efficient, but it is not as sturdy as expected, still a good product.

Great product. Picks up coins and nails/screws as easily as canned goods. Great for getting things from high shelves. I am tall, but the ridiculous cabinet they put over refrigerators cause me grief no more!

After reading countless reviews on similar items I chose this one, I did not have high expectations buy have great need for getting things without losing my balance and falling. This has both pros and cons. Pros: light weight, easy to use, can pick up lightweight and small items even a needle or coin lying flat in the floor, and empty cans, paper, and other small debris items. Also builds a stronger grip in your hand. Cons: max comfortable lifting is about that of a 12oz soda, found that after about 8days of one hrs use each day that it required more strength to pick things up bc the grip wasn't as strong. So.. the biggest con is that I see no way of adjusting for the stretch that naturally occurs from use such that a can of soda can no longer be moved without it slipping from grasp. A great tool for reaching and picking up lightweight small items and debris. Is better than any other I've used. But could be a little better for items commonly dealt with in daily life such as canned goods and a way to adjust the grip.

I purchased TWO of these. I really don’t like leaving a less than perfect review but have to be honest. I rely on reviews when I’m deciding on a purchase & hope that this will help others. I don’t recall reading anything negative but maybe for once, I decided that I didn’t need to read the reviews? Either way, lesson learned! The product works fairly well on picking up super light items but mine broke the first day of use when I tried to pick up a 1L bottle full of Diet Coke. I had one of these that was similar & I guess I was spoiled by it because it was made of heavy duty materials & would pick up just about any & every thing I needed. I did file for a return but before sending back, I used tape to reconnect where it broke (in the middle) and added more tape to act as a reinforcement. It seemed pretty sturdy so I canceled the return. It didn’t take long to realize that was a mistake. The materials used just aren’t strong enough for my needs. Value for the money? Yes, I should have paid more attention to that & factored it in when I was deciding whether or not to purchase. I would recommend if you only have things you need to pick up that aren’t any heavier than a rolled up newspaper…not the Sunday paper though. lol.

For the price, this is a great product with a decent quality. Works great!

This is the third time I purchased this product it is fantastic. Purchase it if you're tired of bending down every time you have to pick up one little thing off the floor.
