These filters are a snug fit in my ceiling-mounted return. I removed the steel louvre, as it makes additional air noise, so I need a good-fitting filter to stay in place. This is the third box that I've bought, changing filter every 2 months.

We have been using these Merv8 filters from Flanders Corp for well over a year now, and are very satisfied. By purchasing a case at a time, I always have a spare on hand, and don't have to run to a local store (or pay ridiculous retail prices) to pick up a fresh filter.The quality is terrific, and every filter in the box has been consistent. The Merv8 filtration does an excellent job of trapping airborne particulates, without causing our HVAC to work harder than it should. (NEVER use the thicker, "higher rated" filters; as they will lead to premature failure of your HVAC system!)We have also recommended these filters to friends and family.

Just replaced a new AC and furnace over a month ago. Installer suggested to replace new filters monthly, due to the Texas dust and my two boxer dogs. Taking the measurements from the filter that came with the installation, I looked locally to only find outrageous prices.Plan B - Amazon. After reading reviews on many filters, I chose 20" x 20" x 1", Merv 8 Naturalaire Standard Pleated Media Home Furnace Air Filter, Box of 12 Filters. I ordered and received the box within a week; installed the first filter, which was a perfect fit. The box arrived intact and after a few days, the air quality is wonderful. Since buying a box of 12, I am good for a year. I will be buying this same product again next year! Thanks Amazon and Toby's Tool Shed (seller).

Although the pleats on these filters aren't as compact as the more expensive filters, I believe they will be good enough for our purpose because we have a 'no smoking' home, no dust catching curtains, hardwood flooring throughout the house, and no pets. Although I don't know for sure, I feel that the air flow seems to be stronger which is probably due to the accordion pleats not being so tight. So far, we don't feel any difference in the air quality with these filters as compared to the previous filters that we've used. We have a 2-filter vent and for about $3.50 per filter compared to over 10 bucks for other brands, we'll probably save a bunch over the course of a year. We will definitely order this product again.

I am relatively new to on line purchasing. I have heard horror stories and have been hesitant in the past. When I received a damaged box, clearly the fault of the shipping, I took pictures, wrote down all the pertinent information and was ready to "fight" to get my problem corrected. I contacted the company, Toby's Tool Shed, through Amazon email to get the ball rolling and received an apology from the company within 3 hours AND they FEDEXed a replacement immediately. The replacements were received, undamaged, and I didn't have to ship the damaged filters back, saving me the headache of shipping them off at my cost. Definite a company I look forward to dealing with again AND a firm recommendation to friends and neighbors. Thank you again Toby's Tool Shed!!

These work Great in our house. We have 3 big dogs so they track in allot of dirt and shed allot as well. These last about a month and then I trash them. They hold up well and they do what I need them to. Cost is better than some of the others we have bough,t that last the same amount of time. Will buy again in 12 months

Good value to encourage consistent replacement. Not sure how filter companies get away with what they charge for these in the store.
