Nice reel for the money. Seems well made and comparable to name brands that cost 3 to 4 times the amount. Drag seems good and adjusts easily. I am using it for warm water flyfishing, so drag not real important. The included fly line seems OK but will probably replace it with my usual brand. However, I would have had the line cost even if I had bought the name brand at 3 to 4 times the cost, so not losing anything. Very happy with purchase. Will just have to see how it holds up over the long haul, but if it only lasts half as long will still be ahead.

Great reel and line for the price. You just cant beat it. Its not the smoothest real but you get what you pay for. The pre-spooled line isnt bad either. I fished for 3 days straight catching trout between 6-18" and had tons of fun with this reel and a 2-3 wt rod. The rainbow pattern is pretty cool too.

I paired this 3/4 weight reel with a Fenwick World Class 6-piece, 8-ft rod and it balances very well. I wanted a smaller weight reel/rod setup that is easy to carry through woods and fish on smaller mountain streams in PA. Used it recently on the Lehigh River as a test (a larger waterbody than what I bough it for) and it casts very well. The fly line, backing and tapered leader is already included which is a nice bonus. The only thing I have to do is reverse the line because I cast with my left arm (my stronger arm) and reel with my right hand and this handle is on the left. The only minor issue is that the drag doesn't adjust correctly. At the highest setting, the reel doesn't even turn. The range of drag is way too broad. I only use the lowest 2 clicks, if that makes sense. I think there are 10 click settings. Overall, a very good reel that comes prespooled for less than $30.

It’s an OK real, just don’t get one with any paint on it or fancy designs. The first one I got was dragging, so I thought it was defective and got another one, and it’s still dragged. I ended up sanding down where the reels come together and it’s working much better. A little thick on the decal was causing it to rub. Other than that, it catches fish.

Took this to Colorado and fished the feeder waters of the Arkansas. It did an excellent jog and was size appropriate (3/4wt) for the smaller fish we were catching ( 6” to 15” trout). Nice compact reel. Just a tad bit wider than some others I have seen in this line weight size. Built with lots of ventilation so line will dry well. The break and drag system if fairly smooth, there is a little pulsing. Very nice reel for its price. I wanted small and light, that is what it is, as well as built well. I should add the spool removal system is easy to use. I had bought another small reel and it was a compression system. Had to pull so hard I was afraid I would bend the spool. This one has a switch, move it, spool comes off.

I've used this exactly 3 times before it fell apart. How you may ask? A big fish? Fall/Slip? Pulling line out to cast made this wonderful well crafted China made reel fall apart literally. We'll good news because I bought a warrenty 😆 amazon tells me the manufacture will take care of you. The manufacturer tells you amazon will take care of you 😆 Asurion says the manufacturer will take care of you and round and round! I want my money back amazon and this reel is absolutely dog water!
