Some are made in Japan. I don’t remember. The quality with Japan and China appeared Same with other models. It would not recharge soon after buying this one. This is all I know.

I was looking for this trimmer years I thought it was discontinued is it back temporary?

If you can order it, then it is available. If it says "Out of Stock", then most likely you cannot order this or any other item. I ordered three so I'd have 'em when if they get discontinued again. Better "safe" than......"Sorry - Discontinued Item."

Is there a ER389 replacement blade available to purchase?

Yes. Contact Panasonic and ask them for a replacement blade for your ER-389. You will need the correct tools to replace, and don't just think you can do it if you don't have any experience working with basic tools (and such, if you know what i mean).

I have an older (15 years, +/-) model of the panasonic er389k that i want to take to europe. is it dual voltage?

The one I got off amazon is not dual voltage 110/120 only
