This is a great treat for a chinchilla. The freeze dried strawberry is very aromatic and tasty! This is a great snack to use in one of those foraging enrichment puzzles that can also be found on Amazon. Take caution, however, the bag that these come in is a little difficult to always make sure it is sealed shut after each use. If these treats are let out in the open air for too long (a couple hours), they will go from hard freeze dried to soft regular fruit...which can spoil. If the bag is left open, then the whole lot can turn. One should place small portions into a few ziplock baggies and then use up each baggie before going to the next one. *This review is being updated to provide feedback on the banana treats as a separate review could not be submitted. Oxbow is great, but I do not recommend the banana treats, they were sampled and seem to really get stuck in your teeth. They were fresh and tasted well, but when you eat them its like a mush that gets stuck in your teeth.

My rabbit loves these. Good quality for the price. I have stopped buying them though, because I have found higher quality treats elsewhere... just a personal preference. Nothing wrong with this brand. I have purchased from Oxbow for many years. I still buy the pellets.

My guinea pigs liked it. As soon as they heard the bag ruffling, they immediately came running and ate it super fast.I wish there were more product in the bag.

I have 3 bunnies and they go crazy for these strawberry treats!I love that they’re just dehydrated strawberries with nothing else added. They still have sugar, as strawberries are sweet, and even natural sugar can upset bunnies’ tummies but a couple here and there, make for lots of binking and excited buns.

The guineas love them. I buy these all the time, it's such a good alternative to fresh fruit. Not needing to get the fruit from the fridge or cut it up is nice. They smell really good too. The bags last about 3 months before going soft. Every time I touch the bag now the guineas hop around.

My bunny is obsessed with these! He literally goes crazy in his cage when he hears the sound of the bag opening and starts zipping back and forth until I drop them in his bowl. They have a wonderful, natural strawberry smell and look just like freeze dried little strawberry junks. Highly recommend!
