Grown Alchemist
It feels very heavy on the skin. I just started using it and cannot make an assumption as to how it's going to work. But I love Grown Alchemist products and I know it will work great.

luxurious but pricey night cream
This night cream feels very hydrating and gives my skin a nice plump look by morning. The texture is rich without being heavy, and it absorbs well so it doesn’t feel greasy when I go to bed. My skin looks a bit smoother and more refreshed after using it for a while, which makes it feel like a pampering step in my routine. The only downside is the price since it is definitely expensive for a 40 ml jar, though the quality is clear.

I love this night cream!
I have combo skin and it works really well. I got a sample in my ipsy box and tried it out when I ran out of my oil. This worked so well that I bought this full size one. It's not greasy and melts into the skin.

Really works!
I’ve tried so many night creams and this one actually leaves my skin looking hydrated and feeling soft. Can’t go without it!

Good ingredients but just okay for me.
I was very excited to see that the Regenerating Night Cream by Grown Alchemist was on offer because I was really in need of a good, rich night cream. Sadly, I still am in need. This is the third product I have tried from this brand, and while it is my favorite so far, it just does not feel moisturizing enough for my dry and dehydrated skin. This brand uses clean ingredients, and I really appreciate that about them. They seem to never use fragrance and this cream is no exception. But even though there is no perfume added, this product does have a lovely peppery floral scent that comes naturally from the botanical ingredients in it. The cream itself feels somewhat dense and opulent. It feels lovely at first when applying, but it starts to lose slip even before I have it fully distributed to every inch of my face. My dehydrated skin wants to drink it in immediately, and it happens so quickly that my fingers seem to drag on the skin before I'm even done applying it. Right after using it my skin definitely feels very soft, but just a few hours later, it's as if I never applied it at all. I can only think that this night cream is meant for normal skin, or younger skin or both, because it just does not give the intensely luxurious richness that my parched skin requires. There are no clues in the formulation either, except to say that it is not as emollient rich as my favorite creams. It contains some lighter weight oils like grapeseed and soybean, plus it has avocado oil and Shea butter. The water attracting ingredients (humectants) are even scarcer. It has glycerin and sodium hyaluronate mainly, where I am used to products that have several more humectants in them. The most intriguing thing about the formulation for me are the anti aging components. The cream contains arginine and lysine, which can signal the cells to produce more collagen and elastin, thereby giving a firmer and more lifted look to the skin. It also contains rambutan extract, which is a retinol alternative that is gaining in popularity. This botanical extract is gentler than retinol and does not increase photosensitivity. This ingredient can also stimulate collagen and elastin production, making it a good alternative for those who cannot tolerate retinol. In the end, even though I like the formulation for this night cream, it lacks the sensory luxury experience that I look for in high-end skincare products. Currently this cream is selling for $99., and even though that is pricey, I think the formulation warrants it whether I personally care to use it or not.

I wish it weren’t so expensive because it really really works wonders on wrinkles overnight
Ok guys, so I was almost hoping that this Grown Alchemist Regenerating Night Cream would be underwhelming because it is very expensive, but unfortunately I am here to tell you that this stuff is incredible. I’ve tested maybe 30 beauty products in the past couple months and this is definitely one of my top three. Tl;dr, it really does diminish fine lines overnight. The texture is like warmed butter spreading onto hot bread. Smooth, silky, great. No fragrance that I can detect. But those are table stakes, right? The real question is how does it perform in terms of improving my complexion. Well I have to say that when I looked in the mirror upon waking the next morning, I was VERY impressed. I looked like I had already just finished my entire morning skincare routine, straight out of bed. The usual splotches of redness that I have on my cheeks and eyes? Pretty much like 90% gone. My forehead looked so smooth. I’m a 40 year old dude and I think I’m already doing pretty well in the avoiding-wrinkles department, but in the morning I definitely have kinda dry “morning face” with some minor wrinkles especially on my forehead. I use a bunch of serums and hyaluronic acid products after showering to hydrate and plump everything up and that really helps. But with this night cream, it’s like I woke up already fully hydrated. I haven’t had any product deliver these results overnight. Yes, I’ve definitely had masks and HA moisturizers that will immediately hydrate and plump and those are great, but I am just kind of shocked how well this keeps in moisture overnight, so it’s like now I never have to see my “morning face” ever again. I also didn’t expect this to even out my skin tone (something I’ve been using 20% niacinamide serum to slowly improve) but it really did. So I think there’s something in this that really works to calm inflammation thereby making skin tone look more even. I know that what I saw in the mirror this morning wasn’t due to any kind of permanent restructuring of my collagen or anything, it’s just the effect of humectants keeping the skin moisturized while I slept and other ingredients calming whatever usual inflammation I have (probably induced by nightly application of tretinoin). Maybe there will be more permanent effects down the line if I keep using this. But it doesn’t matter because the effect really is noticeable. So in the end, I’m actually kind of anxious because I’m wondering if I’m going to have to budget $100 for this stuff regularly going forward. And in fact, as someone who never spends more than $50 on any beauty product, I’m now wondering what I’m missing out on by not splurging on higher tiered luxury beauty products with fancy botanicals and sciencey biologics. Alas, I might try to test some other brands to see if I can see the same results for less money. But in the meantime, this cream is really a godsend for me, and in this case, the extra expense is truly worth it. Absolutely a 5/5 product for me.

Amazon Over price alert
Do not buy this product without checking for a better price. You will pay ~$35 more if you don't pay attention to which seller your using. The product is ok, goes on light and smooth but I think there are better options with a better price point.

Using this cream each night has noticeably improved my skin’s texture and hydration. It feels light but rich enough to keep dryness away, leaving my skin soft by morning. The scent is mild and pleasant, not overwhelming. I’ve noticed a smoother appearance after regular use, especially around areas that tend to look tired. It absorbs well without leaving a greasy layer, which makes it comfortable even during warmer nights. The packaging feels sturdy and neat, and a little goes a long way. It’s become part of my nightly routine because it simply works and leaves my skin looking healthier.

I’ve only just started using this very soothing and luxurious cream from Grown Alchemist — the Regenerating Night Cream. It comes in a lovely 40 ml glass-style jar with clear directions on both the box and the tub. The texture is quite rich and hydrating, and although my skin is on the oily side, it hasn’t felt greasy at all. In fact, my skin looks smoother in the morning. I applied it in the evening after cleansing and letting my face dry completely, avoiding the eye area as suggested. The scent is beautiful — subtle yet elegant — and the cream spreads well, so only a small amount is needed to cover the face and neck. The pot isn’t large, but a little goes a long way, and the presentation feels high-end. It contains ingredients like green tea, plant peptides, and rambutan, which sound promising for collagen support and smoother skin. It’s too early to see long-term results, but so far, I’m really pleased with how soft and nourished my skin feels.

have been using this for about a month and was sceptical, but i think its really working, its making my skin clearer and brighter, and while my skin looks quite young anyway its definitely made it look better, even without makeup. wasn't too keen on the smell, but its actually fine, and quite nice, its way more expensive than what i would usually pay, and i wouldn't have tried it if i had to pay for it, but i might buy it again

Love this! Really lovely night cream feels rich but not greasy, and sinks in nicely before bed. After a few uses, my skin felt more hydrated and a bit firmer in the morning. It has that smooth, velvety texture that makes it feel like a proper nighttime treat while helping soften fine lines. Highly recommended!

I have been using this night cream for a week now and my skin definitely feels better. Not a massive difference in lines around my forehead, but as I'm over 50 that's not too surprising. I was actually quite surprised at the basic white box due to having the hand cream set which is very luxuriously packaged. Overall a good night cream although £83 is a bit excessive considering the ingredients.
