I recently got an FNIRSI HS-02a soldering iron after my old and trusty TS100 died. The kit was ordered from overseas and came with a single universal tip. I frequently work on small electronics and surface-mount components and need precision tips. This C245-K-I-JS precision tip kit makes a great addition to my FNIRSI iron. The tips look physically identical to the FNIRSI tip I had. The only difference is the etched model number. The tips heat up very quickly; the temperature appears similar to that of the FNIRSI tip, although I have no way to precisely measure it. The tips take solder very well and tinned easily. All tips have very sharp ends and are suitable for precision work. The price of $22 is great too! Highly recommend!

Perfect for home use. These are very fine tips for detailed work. These will work out for all small electronics soldering jobs. I’m using them with an off brand battery powered instant heat soldering iron and couldn’t be happier.

After a few hours I'm impressed. I'm always a little leery with no-name gear, moreso when the shop page seems to completely random items - piano rugs, wall sconces, soldering tips. Definitely seems like a drop-ship operation so I'm not sure who actually manufactured these tips. Whoever did, they did a good job. I picked up some of the mid-range sizes: D2.2, 102-C and 939-K as I've been working on vintage audio and some work on 3D printer upgrades. All tips heated very quickly and easily with a TC22 station. Tips tinned easily and cleanly. Edges are well machined and made quick work of removing older joints and installing new components. No significant oxidation after several hours, in fact the tip remained smooth and shiny though I do clean and re-tin frequently. Easy to switch out as needed. For the price and with proper care these are really nice tips and should last for months of heavy soldering.
