GM Genuine Parts 213-4333 (12608814) Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Our 2018 Tahoe would make loud fan noise shortly after turning vehicle on and for about 10 minutes after shutting vehicle off. The temperature gauge and AC unit would also stop working when this would happen. Youtube and internet searches lead us to replacing this part and it has fixed the issue for us. Also not a very difficult DIY fix! Recommend this product to anyone with similar issues. Definitely worth it to try and replace sensor to see if this fixes your issue before looking into other possible diagnoses.

Original was still going strong at 100,000 miles. I decided to replace this while i was doing some other work on the coolant system. Exact match to the original coolant temp sensor in 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 5.3L engine. Be careful putting this in. It’s hard to tell when the crush washer is fully seated. The temperature sensor probe seemed to bottom out at the same time the crush waster was seated. Guess it’s fine? If you over torque this, you will cause damage. Note: this comes with teflon coating already on the threads and a crush washer. Price is cheaper than at local parts store for this GM OE part

Fit my 2017 Silverado 5.3 when it shows it doesn't. Exact match and fair price! Not sure it helped any issues, I did this same time i did my thermostat on my truck. Its just smart to do together to get the most accurate read.

Starter worked great on my 2016 Yukon. I am not a mechanic but after watching some YouTube videos I had the delusional belief that I can bypass years of training and practice and install it myself. It was not pretty and my kids (and probably the neighborhood kids) learned some colorful language. But my car starts without fail and has been running beautifully for a few weeks now.

Received a used and damaged sensor.. purchased new, pretty irritated because now my vehicle is down as I don't see any point in refilling the coolant while I wait for my new part. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Amazon Photo incomplete by not showing (cut-off) the integral plastic electrical (2 wire) connection portion of this part. Deduct 1 STAR for poor photo. Comes in factory GM/ACDelco plastic bag. Part incorporates teflon thread sealant and brass compression washer AS SHOWN. Deep 19mm hex socket fits over plastic connector with no problem. Easy to unscrew, exchange old with new, with only few ounces of coolant lost (no need drain coolant).
