This bag is very versatile and the size is good for carrying your recovery gear. There are several pockets inside of bag and the outside to carry other gear. Bag is high quality and the color makes it easy to see. Zippers are sturdy, clips help keep bag secure. Strap is adjustable. I would highly recommend this bag over others. Great value, excellent quality, fair price.

This bag was most certainly designed by someone who knew a lot about off roading... The enter section is actually two parts, you have the large rectangle that is the body of the bag, and then in the center there is a large compartment that appears to be waterproof, so that center section is big enough to hold two rescue straps and one tree hugger On the trail when you are done using straps and such, you just put them into this center section and it lifts right out, making it easy to handle the dirty straps and go rinse them out On top of that it has two end pockets that are roomy and equally well built I use one pocket for a spare d ring shackle and a snatch block and the other end for a pair of leather work gloves It also has a nicely padded strap to carry it with

Very nice bag, that helps organize and hold particular pieces of recovery gear. This large bag is the same as the ARB gear bag that ships with their bigger recovery kit. That kit is set up for jeeps and off road SUV's ! I have a full size 4x4 diesel pickup, that weighs 8,000 lbs(17,500 lb. winch installed), as shown in the photo. As such the straps i carry are bigger and rated in the 30,000 lb. plus category. Therefore i cannot fit 3 full size straps. I can fit 2-30,000 lb. straps(30 ft)., a 30,000 lb. tree/bridle strap (8 ft.),and a winch dampener, in the main bag. I also can fit 1--7/8th inch D-ring and gloves in 1 end pocket. and 2--3/4 inch shackles(D-ring) in the other. The bag at this point has become as heavy as you want to carry. As the Item picture shows, there is a set of interior gear flaps which allow you to cover the top of your gear. Over this is a retaining buckle which holds everything in place. Finally over all this is a double buckle for the bags lid flap. Others have mentioned how well this is designed, and i concur. ARB came thru with this item. As a final thought, ARB's new equipment bags and cases, now come with topographical lines over the orange. On some websites you will notice that some of these bags are only orange. These are NOS (new old stock). In other words last generation gear.

So, I get stuck plowing (in my driveway of all places) and my friend breaks my 2" strap. That won't happen again. I just opened the box, and I thought I was getting a basic heavy duty bag to store my recovery tools in. Nope. Two outside pockets for gloves, shackles, etc., an inside pocket for a sheave, and the large pocket has a velcro attached inner liner to hold water, snow, mud and make it easy to clean. I am VERY impressed for the money. It would have five stars if there was a handle on the cover in addition to the shoulder strap.

Great quality, solid build and heavier materials than I expected. One side pocket will hold 2 shackles. That leaves the other side for my receiver hitch shackle bracket and shackle. In the center compartment I was able to put my 10' tree saver and a 30'x 3" strap. There is a divided compartment for a snatch block that holds a 20 x 2" strap and the snatch block. The front compartment will hold the winch line dampener or if your using a synthetic winch line you can use that spot for a line extension or chains I was reluctant to buy a bag this expensive but i'm not disappointed in the least with my purchase.
