Discrete, Decent Audio, Plug-n-Talk
After being decently satisfied with the receiving unit of the Audio-Technica ATW-1101/H Wireless Mic System , but less than satisfied with its ugly, literally-in-your-face 8HEcW headset mic that came with it, I looked to this unit as an alternative. So far, it works well. It's compatible with the existing connector - so it's a simple swap of the mic wires and you're good to go. The mic is quite stiff, but if you give it force it will bend and keep that position. It does require some tweaking to get the right fit for the speaker's ear, but once done it was very solid. It's relatively discrete compared to the bundled one, though by no means "invisible". Ours came with a breath guard in the same color (essentially a small "sock"), which has the disadvantage of making it look larger. This mic comes in a black version if your regular speaker's skin is darker - mismatching the two makes it much more noticeable. As for durability, we've had no problems after the first month of use. The wire bends/loops well without kinking. My only point of concern would be where the wire connects to the bulge behind the ear - but that is only suspicion. Sound quality is very good. It picks up the speaker without too much bias toward any frequency, and prevents a lot of feedback issues we normally have with more omni-directional mics. It's $130 right now, which is "ok". Better than a lot of others of the same type. Overall, very impressed.

Audio Technica head microphone for system 10 transmitter
It's been a good investment. Microphone is closer to mouth do that even a whisper can be captured very clear. It has hirose 4 pin Quick Connection for convenience.

Great Mic
This is a great Mic(if you already have an Audio Technica. Body pack. More sturdy than the other off labor headset microphone’s.

Only For Occasional Use
Sound quality is very good and the unit seems pretty durable. My only beef with it is its ability to stay in place. It really wants to come off the ear regardless of how much I shape it. A little first aid tape behind the ear might help to hold it in place. We're gonna keep it and use it for the occasional guest speaker who comes in.

Perfect replacement
I ordered this as a replacement for the one we have. I have given the operators a lesson in the care and feeding of the wires that go into the connector and how fragile they can be if bent many times when stored between services. The unit works perfectly for or minister and the service.

10 mo.s later and shorting out - UPDATE 2nd one lasted 2 1/2 years. Is that enough for the price?
I've used this sort of head-worn mic in the past and have liked its subtlety and ease. I ordered this one to be more discreet and, having used this style of mic before, I knew that if you want it to stay in place you need to use skin tape. For all of you struggling with it staying in place, this is your answer. It's what theatre groups do. The problem is, I purchased this mic on 12/18/2020 and 10 months later it's shorting out and essentially unusable because I don't know when it will work and when it will just drop out and not work at all. I'm very careful about sensitive equipment like this, and I have used it and stored it with the utmost care. And, since I only use it once a week, that means I've used it about 40 times before it gave out. For $130, that I have to cover the cost for, that leaves me incredibly disappointed in this product. Unfortunately, for the system we have, this is the only mic I've found that's both discreet and compatible, which means that I have no real option other than to purchase another one and hope that the new one lasts longer than 10 months. UPDATE: I purchased a second one of these on 10/26/21, and it lasted until 7/21/24 when it suddenly stopped working altogether. I suppose if you don't mind spending $140 on a new mic every couple years, then this one is good, until it's not. I think rather than replace it with a third, I might try one oof the $35 models and see how that goes. For the track record of this one, I can buy 6 of them, and if they last three years then I came out ahead.

Relatively large microphone head, slips a little, but the sound is excellent
I had the more expensive headset from AT and this one so far. Both are as equal as two products can be for sound quality, but this one's mic is much larger (relatively) so strong lighting casts a dot onto the face of the performer that is noticable. We use this in a small church so that is not an issue. Second, the ear piece needs some bending to fit the ear of the wearer, making them very personal. leaving it as-bought means it is going to slip around and cause the talent to adjust it. Again, not a big problem. The wire is a little stiffer than the better unit which makes it last longer, so you pay less for a more durable product here, so it is kind of a win-win. I would recommend this over the $300 version which is more applicable to a user that is concerned their appearance. For small town church, this is dialed in by price and value.
