F14 Tomcat: Grumman's “Top Gun” from Vietnam to the Persian Gulf: 11 (Legends of Warfare: Aviation, 11)

A superb book, and not just for fans of the F-14, any military aviation enthusiast should enjoy this title. The author gives a good history of the F-14 from it's inception up to it's retirement from the USN, also included is a brief write up of it's continuing service with Iran. The books strong point though is the excellent photographs of the F-14, no surprise given the author! Highly recommended!

Another superb publication from David F. Brown. Detailed and informative text and unparalleled photographs, mostly from the author’s own archives. This book makes an excellent follow on to the author’s previous publication on the F-14, ‘Tomcat Alley’ this time capturing many images from post OEF/OIF cruises and the Tomcat’s final months in USN service. Highly recommended.
