A case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
I have been an Amazon shopper for decades, but this is the first time I'm writing a review on a product because I had completely enjoyed this pair of earbuds (notice the past tense) so much that I am compelled to write a review. Bass is very deep for on-ear earbuds, volume is loud, tweeter is clear without any shrills, and mid range warm-toned. I fell in love with this pair of earbuds, especially because I hate the over-the-head bulk of a typical headset and the vacuum suction of the in-ear earbuds. Also, because this pair of earbuds rests just outside of the ear canals without completely blocking them, the sound from the drivers naturally produce a surround sound effect, which effectively expands the audio space to about 5 feet all around you as opposed to resonating it only within your skull from a typical in-ear-canal earbuds. Pros: fantastic audio performance with its 14mm drivers, delivering deep base and crystal clear mid range and upper scale notes. Very comfortable on the ears with 3 selectable sizes of silicone tips to fit varying ear sizes. The flat cords prevents tangling. The case is a nice bonus with its compact size for portability or storage. I used it for an average of 5 hours a day consistently for a year while playing Diablo III on my laptop, and I rarely used it for any other purpose, so obviously there was no abuse or rough handling of this pair of earbuds. Cons: So, why the title of Dr Jekyll and My Hyde? Well, as much as I absolutely loved this pair of earbuds, nearly a year after use, the cords became brittle at the seams and began to crack. The point where the red cord meets the 3.5mm jack and the ear pieces cracked little by little, and within a month the inner wires also became frayed. Eventually, the right side audio died. I tried to salvage it by using a duct tape, but it was an exercise in futility. Had I known that HyperX earbuds have a 2 year warranty (something that I overlooked entirely) I would have contacted the manufacturer for a warranteed replacement, but at the time I wasn't aware of it and just trashed it to get it could get it out of my sight. It was a fantastic pair of earbuds that I absolutely enjoyed for a solid year, but after a year of use, the red cable cracked at the seams and fell apart. I am very, very disheartened because there is no other set of earbuds like it. It is so comfortable to wear for many hours at a sitting that I hardly noticed it in my ears. I should give this product a 1 star review for its dismal material failure, but due to the phenomenal audio performance, comfort, convenient use on my laptop that I am still giving it a 5 star review. However, buyer beware, if you purchase it, it will give you full satisfaction for a year, and then it will break apart at precisely where the cable joins the earpieces and the 3.5mm jack. On the off chance that HyperX should decide to make this exact pair of earbuds with a braided cord, I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat.

One of the most simple but best gaming headset for the pricepoint
I purchase these HyperX Cloud earbuds in lieu of Pubg Mobile on my Iphone (keep in mind you have to have the lightning cable adapter but its worth it). These are one the best earbuds for the price. I have dropped these, sat on them, yank it on (mostly unintentional as the cord is very long) and even sweat on them and they work perfectly fine. They are super durable and have outlasted many earbuds I have had in the past. The only flaw, its corded, so you may get it caught on something but if most of the gamer community would know you can't beat the response time of corded vs Bluetooth. The earbud design is genius that it pops of so if it gets caught or yanked it will not break the earpiece, rather most of the time the tips will stay in your ear. Only bad part is if you loose them you. As for the important part sound, now for Music its ok, definitely not ok for an audiophile but ok for someone who works out (sound wise). But when it comes to gaming, its phenomenal. Its minute but the differences make a large difference on my iphone xs max playing pubg mobile. I hear more, the response is fast and it really helped me pay attention to my game better. I also like the plug being 90deg angle unfortunately i still have to use the lightning adapter but when i use the headphones on other none apple items the 90 deg plug is great for space saving and less likely to damage the most common part on any wired headphones, the plug outlet. For the price, for only $35, these are great for what I use them if not perfect. If its for games that only play in Stereo like pubg mobile, nintendo switch, ps4 controller, etc.. these are great they do the job well and are priced well. I highly recommend these for gaming. Now if you use a device that offers surround sound, then i highly suggest you pay more for the HyperX Cloud Alphas or better, but for games on mobile devices like Pubg mobile, these are perfect! Cheers and happy gaming

Far Exceeded My Expectations
Prior to the purchase of this product, the only other pair of gaming earbuds that I owned were the Astro A03 earbuds. After spending several days with the HyperX Cloud Earbuds, I can 100% confirm that these are far better in nearly every way. The only two areas where the cloud earbuds are lacking, when compared to the Astro A03s, are build quality and to some extent sound quality. The build quality of the cloud earbuds is mostly plastic, meanwhile the A03s does have a bit of an aluminum construction. Furthermore the sound quality of the cloud earbuds is slightly worse than the A03s, when trying to pinpoint player positioning in game, but honestly the difference is very negligible and I can usually tell when someone is trying to flank me. As far as mic quality, comfort, fit, and cable management, the cloud earbuds are far superior. I know there's a bit of controversy surrounding the design of the ear tips for the cloud earbuds, but personally the default ear tips fit me perfectly right out the box and they're very comfortable over prolonged use. In addition to that I very frequently received complaints about the mic quality of the A03s, but none of my friends are bothered by the mic quality of the cloud earbuds. Most likely this is due to the presence of a higher quality microphone for the cloud earbuds, as well as the ability to keep the mic very close to your mouth by keeping both audio cables close together. So far this product has performed very well, and the only area left for me to test really is the long term durability. This will naturally take time though, and so I will update my review accordingly if something should go wrong. Although the HyperX Cloud Earbuds are marketed for use on the Nintendo Switch, my review as well as all my mic quality and game audio tests were based off of my experience on the PlayStation 4.

These earbuds are a great pair, but everything has it's downsides.
These earbuds are a good set for me and people alike but I'll cut straight to the point. These earbuds aren't for everyone and that's because of the shape of the buds. The buds are shaped to sit on the inside of your ear and quite a few people can't seem to get them to stay. I can get them to stay on strong but that's because I don't wear them like a normal earbud, this pair doesn't go into your ear, it sits in your ear. This is supposed to extend the usage in a day but what I'm seeing is that some people are trying to get them in their ear (like other earbuds) or constantly adjusting them. This increases the pressure on your ear and makes them seem uncomfortable. I've learned to put them in and give a little bit of a twist to sit them in position. Now on to the sound. They sound great and for earbuds, I was definitely impressed considering the price. The gaming tag always gets in the way of the price but they don't seem to bother it to much. The high range isn't ear piercing and the mid range is clear, but the bass is were most earbuds fall as does this one. The bass sounds pretty good inside of my bedroom but when in a noisy environment such as my college cafeteria, its definitely fades and the midrange also suffers an amount. This is due to the design of the buds, they have a noticeable hole in the bud which keeps it from falling out of your ear. The problem is that you lose a decent amount of sound out of it. I'd say that the looks are nice, the style and feel of the earbuds is there, not to mention that the ear piece cover is metal. Overall, I think they are a good pair of earbuds and will stand through the rigorous chores of life. Now it's up to you to make the purchase.

Over Priced Razor Buds To Reasonable HyperX Buds
I don’t usually write reviews for the products I receive, but I just had an experience where I bought the Razor Hammerhead V2’s and then were the most uncomfortable earbuds I’ve ever had in my ears. The sound quality was nice and the noise cancellation was great but every time i had them in my ears I couldn’t stop thinking about how much they hurt... like they were actually painful. For $70 I was dumb and they were completely not worth it so I returned them and thought I’d try hyperx out because I had their Hyperx Cloud II’s witch were amazing but the right speaker ended up going faint which bummed me out so I tried these. Overall I’m very happy with them, they’re not the best but for the $35 price tag I think they’re amazing for the nice soft earpieces, sound quality, and design of the earbuds. Definitely don’t get for hardcore FPS shooters and what not but for daily typical pc use and for non-competitive games theyre perfect. Very happy with this purchase. Screw Razor earbuds.

Does NOT work with iPhone even with converter piece
I bought these for playing PUBG mobile. I had read excellent reviews for them on here and watched several reviews videos on gaming headsets on YouTube specifically for pubg mobile and these were highly recommended. Despite not having an end piece that fits iPhone products, it was stated everywhere that a 3.5 lightning converter piece works perfectly fine. I have an iPhone 8 and can say it doesn't work fine. It works great for music and everything. However for gaming, any time I would turn on my mic in game, everything went silent. I could no longer hear team mates or sound effects at all and they couldn't hear me. As soon as I mute myself, everything was working again except for my mic. I tried 3 different 3.5 lightning adapters from different companies and of various prices and it was the same experience with them all. I have returned the earbuds since I cannot use them and will be getting the Bluetooth ones instead (which I didn't see anywhere prior or else I'd bought those instead). If you're an iPhone user, don't waste your time on these I will say, I LOVE how these fit in my ears. I hate the way earbuds are designed nowadays (I like the AirPod style design like most ear phones were until recently) and how they fit in my ears but the design on these with the cone shape, it's just great. I hope that feature stays and other companies pick it up.

Decent
I’m on the hunt for a great pair of ear buds for gaming, and the sound quality on these are pretty good compared to a lot of others. For my phone they play music just fine as well. Pros: sound quality is there. Cheap as well for under 50 bucks I was pretty excited. Cons: the flat cabling is suppose to help with cord tangling which they do except this headset it does not, the thing is always tangled and pulling which is a huge problem for the next con. These things are the most uncomfortable pair of ear buds I’ve ever owned. They don’t fit into my ear at all which is crazy cause I can put small medium or large of the round tips on any normal pair of ear buds and they all fit. These things refuse to stay in my ear with it’s wonky shape. Which also sucks cause when I use them with my phone and go for a run they just keep falling out. Overall the sound is there, but the comfort and the ability to stay in my ear are so bad I will be returning these unfortunately.

Comfortable fit and affordable
I have always wanted to find a good set of earbuds for gaming that fit in my ears properly. Most earbuds never fit properly, and cause pain/irritation. I have Pulse 3D’s for my PS5. But, nothing for my switch/xbox. I read the reviews and figured I would try these out. These have been treating me very well so far. They do not have much weight to them. As well as the silicon tips are very comfortable for me. Typically, I cannot wear earbuds for more than an half an hour because of discomfort. The design of the silicon buds allows it to sit nicely in my ear, but not lodged into the ear canal. It sits right at the entrance. It does take away from noise isolation but I would take comfort over noise isolation personally. The sound quality is also pretty solid for what I need it for. A lot of reviews mention their left or right earbud going out after about a year. Which obviously is an issue but HyperX has a two year warranty so that is nice to know in case something happens. But, some of these people seem to treat their earbuds poorly to begin with so I will have to see for myself!

Best Gaming Earphones I Have Came Across 10/10
These are my very first gaming earphones which i purchased in 2020 during lockdown. Okay so rating the gaming experience of these earphones, they are 10/10. You could hear even the smallest sound in game, let it be FPS or battle royal. I have been using them for the past 3 years and i didn't face any issue with sound. The one thing i felt which should be improved a little bit is the build quality. The hinge between the earphones and the wire got damaged due to excess folding. I have taped it but still the earphones work as good as new. After reading the reviews of some people they complained about the earbud not fitting in their ears. I know everyone might not feel these earphones comfortable and get a perfect fit in one go. The same happened with me, when i tried wearing them i just pushed them in my ear just like regular earphones and they used to fall off. But later after reading the manual i got to know how to actually wear them. These are the best ever earphones in this price range. You don't get the over-the-ear experience which you get in headphones, but for me what matters is the sound quality and gaming experience which is amazing. I would highly recommend them.
