So far so good. It’s a cute little addition to your Mac mini. Gives it some character and keeps it fairly cool during long uses. Since I am on the computer normally for long periods of time it’s helpful to keep the device clean and at room temp.

Pretty cute, good size and it fits well. I’m not entirely sure how functional this thing is though… Sort of don’t entirely see the point of needing this. I thought it was a good idea at first but now that I have it, I’m kinda like do I really need this? It’s not bad by any means but why would you buy this? I guess I thought it would help it not get scratched. But it also never get scratched as it is it just sits there… So why do I need this?

After using this front power button stand with my Mac mini for about a week, I’m honestly surprised Apple hasn’t done something like this themselves. Being able to press the power button from the front instead of reaching under or lifting the Mac mini is a bigger quality-of-life upgrade than it sounds. The button lines up perfectly, gives a nice tactile click, and works every time without feeling mushy or misaligned. It turns something mildly annoying into something effortless, which is exactly what a good accessory should do. The stand itself feels well thought out and solid on the desk. The open-base design doesn’t block airflow, and I haven’t noticed any increase in temperatures or fan noise during normal work. Setup took all of about a minute, and once the Mac mini is seated, it feels stable and secure. The overall look blends nicely with a clean desk setup and doesn’t feel out of place next to Apple hardware. The interchangeable button caps are a fun extra. They’re not necessary, but they add a bit of personality if you want something playful on your desk. Packaging is also surprisingly nice, making this an easy gift for someone who uses a Mac mini daily. Overall, this is one of those niche accessories that solves a very real problem in a simple, elegant way. If you power your Mac mini on and off regularly, this is a genuinely useful upgrade that feels worth the price.

This thing is very well designed and I love all the little functionality. First, the power button at the front is such a huge quality of life upgrade. It comes with both sets (the smiling face and duck face) of front buttons and is easy to press and gives a tactile response when it hits the Mac power button. Very smooth operation and the design is super fun. Second, there is a multistage integrated dust filter at the bottom of the stand! It comes with two sets of filters than you install at the bottom of the stand, then a plastic plate that slides into place and where you can position the Mac over. I haven't noticed any temperature spikes or throttling while using this, which is an upgrade from my last stand that seemed to choke airflow from the Mac's bottom fan intake. Overall, this is a well designed, high quality Mac mini stand that has found a new home on my desk for the very foreseeable future. I think the price is more than reasonable given the thoughtful design and build.
