Asclepius was a hero and god of medicine in ancient Greek religion and mythology. He represents the healing aspect of the medical arts and his snake entwined rod remains a symbol of medicine today. This piece makes an outstanding display for any home or office.

It is beautiful and has a good esthetic.
Though there are a lot of companies making statues of the Ancient Greek Gods, this company alone has a connection to the esthetic of the Ancients. This is not a copy of something broken, or a modern interpretation of what somebody saw in a dream. This is an honest attempt to make an image which the Ancients would have recognized and approved, and in this Hellenistos' opinion, they are doing the best job around at the moment. --Only wish they would bring back into production some of the really excellent ones they have made that have sold out through popularity.
