TV Wall Mount, Thin 505 Extra Thin Fixed Bracket for 40 - 65 inch TVs, Black

Overall, I like the quality of the TV mount. I was looking for a mount that was thin as I wanted a very simple, clean look. I didn't need the TV to swivel or anything so this fit the bill. What drew me to this was 1) the minimal distance to the wall, and 2) the overall design of the mount.The TV that I was mounting was an LG 65" OLED TV. Given how thin the display is, I wanted something that wasn't super bulky. I wan't something that would make the TV look like it was nicely integrated into the wall.The design is minimalist with some nice touches: the two levers that push the bottom of the TV away from the wall so that you can access to cords, and the integrated bubble level to help with ensuring the mounting bar is level. I also like the single center screw allow you to ensure the bar is level first before installing the two screws into the studs.The few design issues that I had though was that because the TV is _so_ close to the wall, it's incredibly tight to access the cords. Obviously this depends on where your ports on the TV are. For my particular model, some of the ports are located on the back versus the side of the display, so accessing the coax was challenging even for my thinnish hands. It was also difficult to see where the cords in the back were. Trying to adjust them so they weren't interfering with the brackets and the wall was a bit of a battle. It's best to route the cords as best as you can while the TV is off the wall first, and hope that they don't get bunched up somewhere when you lift the TV onto the mounting bar.The other design challenge of this particular mount is that it only spans two studs. In my case, I have 16" OC studs, however, there is a single stud located at the center of the wall meaning if I wanted to center the TV on the wall, I would have to offset the mounting bar and then shift the TV all the way to one side in order to have the TV centered. I attached a diagram to illustrate how I eventually positioned the TV relative to the location of the mounting bar. While I'm sure everything is fine, I wasn't entirely sure if this was acceptable given there were no instructions to state whether this is advisable or not. I mounted the two outside screws into studs, and in the center I utilized a 75# screw-in drywall anchor as an additional measure.The result is good though. The final distance between the wall and the back of the TV display being 2.5" while from the wall to the portion where the electronics are housed being about .75". While there is an app that helps you to position the mount on the wall, I opted to just measure everything myself.I'm happy with the look even though there were some challenges with the install.

Well thought out minimalist design that neatly integrates the display into the viewing area. Steel construction, sturdy and confidence inspiring when hanging my expensive LG 65" OLED TV. Installed on studs at 16" centers the mount is rock solid. Supplied hardware includes multiple size bolts to accommodate most VESA patterns, washers, and standoffs that I opted to utilize making cable management a bit easier. Installation instructions are straightforward and simple so long as you have the correct tools on hand. Note that the centering screw on the wall plate is clearly not intended for load bearing so proper alignment with studs is crucial to meeting the weight spec.

Absolutely perfect for my LG C1 55". It provided the cleanest, most flush wall mount possible for my TV. There is no wasted space whatsoever. The installation is very easy, just 1 center screw in the drywall, and 2 outer screws in studs. It comes with some AR app that's supposed to guide you through it virtually, but it wouldn't work, the app wasn't loading correctly (on a Galaxy S22). It was very easy to do without it though, just a few measurements and a leveling tool and it was good to go. Feels very high quality, I guess my only complaint is that the "service mode" feels a bit precarious, but it does what it claims. Very happy with this purchase overall.

Great tv mount for my Sony OLED. Mounts as close to the wall as possible. Sony has a specialty mount but it costs a few hundred dollars. The only bad thing was the mounting hardware. Throw out the three screws and buy quality lag bolts. The screws strip quickly. Also the bracket for the wall has exactly three holes so it's hard to center if you have studs that are not exactly spaced apart. I wish there were more holes in the bracket and that four bolts could be used. Very happy with this mount though.

Under this product, the manufacturer provides a description of the Vogel WALL series saying "A sturdy lock and release feature clicks your TV safely onto the mount." However, I found out after this wall mount arrived that it is the THIN series, and there is NO locking mechanism.The TV is secured into place simply by its own weight, resting on the wall bracket. I live in California in earthquake country, and there is no way that such a set up would work for me – especially with two small children in the house. I ended up having to install two earthquake straps to the back of the TV to prevent it from falling down.The mount is extremely thin, and besides the lack of a locking mechanism seems to function fine. The mounting assistance app that was included is kind of cool, and functioned well.

This TV mount is very sturdy and easy to install. They ask you to install an app for instructions, but frankly the app is not really needed if you've mounted a TV at least once in your life. The only reason I changed my mount was because I wanted it to be as close to the wall as possible and this product delivers on that promise. I do believe it's a little pricey, but sometimes you gotta pay to get the best.

I am using this to hang a 55” Sony XBR and the TV is very secure against the wall and I am not concerned with it pulling out. The one issue I had was that the cross bar was not long enough by about 4” to attach both sides to studs when it was centered on my wall. I ended up having to use a 75 lb drywall anchor to secure one side. If I had a heavier TV I would be concerned with the unit pulling out. Overall, the unit is very sturdy though it would be great to have a longer crossbar, in my case, for the security of attaching to studs.

We were looking for the slimmest mount we could get that was easy to install and use. The Vogel 505 extra thin checked all the boxes for us and worked out great! Not much else to say other than it's all metal, sturdy and well, just works!

Good sturdy TV stand, however its impossible to have this stay in the 'flat' position when mounting my 65" LG CX. No matter what I do, it always tilts forwards again within a few seconds of moving it to the flat position. ~Such a shame as it ruins the aesthetic of my room somewhat and sticks out when walking past it, other than that though it seems like a good quality product. Perhaps the stiffness of the tilting mechanism should be adjustable on future models.

We recently revamped our dining room into a usable living area and had purchased a 55" LG OLED B9 TV to put into the new space. Given the slim proportions of the B9 I wanted a wall bracket that kept the TV as close to the wall as possible.I've used Vogel's bracket in the past with no issue so decided to go for this 405 model and wasn't disappointed. Very well made and super slim, though I did use my own spirit level rather than relying on the inbuilt one.Not the cheapest bracket but for such a pricey TV I didn't want to spoilt the effect by going for a cheap but 'fat' bracket.

This is an excellent product. Very easy to put up - only two screws required, yet it is rock solid. Good quality fixings included. The included augmented reality app to help you place the tv on the wall works as intended, and the thing I like most about this is the tilt mechanism, it sort of cantilevers out rather than pivoting around a single point, so you can get the bottom of the TV very close to the wall which keeps the overall projection from the wall lower than for simpler designs.

So I finally decided to mount my LG 55” B8 OLED TV to the wall and wanted a decent bracket for it.Now I know there are a lot of cheap ones out there that I’m sure are fine, but I wanted something a little more premium and this certainly delivered on that.As soon as you unbox everything, you can tell it’s very high quality and back by warranty too.The good thing about this mount is that the holes are placed vertically, so you have a nice bit of wiggle room to ensure you get it dead level. And speaking of the included level, it’s perfectly accurate which was a nice surprise.Overall, I’m so pleased with this slim mount, the TV looks so much better on the wall using it.

Great TV mount, it does what it says and will get your TV as close to the wall as your TV will allow. It also comes with this handy camera app to help you mount your TV which I thought would be useless but was surprisingly good. Compared to my last mount this was 10x easier to put up as it has fewer screws, a handy app and plenty of extra bits to get the best mount for your tv done.If I need to buy one again I will be buying this from now on
