This is a must for anyone studying for the 18th edition course. It is quite small but I have found it very helpful. The question and answer section is especially helpful.

A decent guide on the basics of the regulations that helps explain some of what the code is saying, so your eyes don’t pop out trying to figure what the code means. Wish it explained more of the stuff we need every day, like how to figure breaker sizing in easy math but it does the best in a small space.

Small book but covers just about everything an electrician needs for reference. Very important for apprentices.

Well written book; easily explains the new regulations, and the test papers are really useful.

The book is an excellent description of the regs but missed some changes from 17th edition. I could be wrong but their is no mention of surge protection devices introduced in 18th and some answers in the quiz are now incorrect (e.g interval between testing of RCDs is now six monthly rather than quarterly.)

Easy to understand breakdown of all the 18th edition additions and everything BS7671. Pocketable guide I keep with me on the go.

Some of the pages are not glued to the spine. Consequently, they come off are soon as you flick through the pages.
