Review: Fantastic quality - This is so easy to install into a door frame and yet creates such a strong grip that my 18 year old, 6ft 1” son is able to confidently use it for pull ups without it slipping. The padded edges not only create a strong grip but also ensure that no marks or damage are left on the door frame itself. I personally really like that it doesn’t need to be a permanent installation so can be moved when needed. Very strong bar, well made and a great design - would def recommend to others. Review: Great for smaller areas, sturdy - I wanted something simple that didn’t require drilling into the wall and this was exactly what I needed for my at home workouts. Setting it up was quick and straightforward. The adjustable design made it easy to fit perfectly in my doorway and I really liked the built-in level meter, it helped me make sure everything was even and secure before using it. The locking mechanism is sturdy and strong, so I’m not worried about it slipping while I’m mid-workout. The foam grips are comfortable and give a good hold. I mainly use it for pull-ups and chin-ups. It feels sturdy and holds my weight without any issues, which is obviously the most important part. Plus it’s portable, I can take it down easily if I need the doorway or want to move it to another spot.

Must have for home workouts!
This doorway pull-up bar is a great addition to a home workout setup. The extra-wide adjustable design makes it easy to fit in larger doorways or hallways, and the no-drill installation is a huge plus. You simply twist it into place, and it feels secure without damaging the frame. The triple-lock system really adds peace of mind. Between the twist-lock extension, safety pin, and threaded center support, the bar stays very stable during workouts. It feels sturdy and well-built, and the high weight capacity makes it suitable for a variety of users. I also like the built-in level meter, which helps ensure the bar is perfectly aligned before using it. It’s a small feature but makes setup much easier and safer. The foam grips are comfortable and provide a solid, non-slip hold even during longer workouts. Another big advantage is how portable it is. Since there are no screws or tools required, it’s easy to move between rooms or take down when not in use. Overall, this is a well-designed, sturdy pull-up bar that works great for convenient home workouts. 💪

Don't buy it
Do not waist your money on this junk. I opened and it was to long that it didn't even fit my door frame. It is a complete waist of money. So don't spend your hard earned cash in this item.

Easy to install
Just got it. Easy to install seems to hold my weight just fine. Bar has grips the extend the length of the main bar. Feels well made and stable. Great value.

Makes it easy
Nothing like having a removable pull-up bar. We keep it behind the couch out of sight when not in use. It fits the doorway firmly which means it's safe and sturdy. They comfort grip handle is a plus so you don't have to have gloves on when using it.

Easy to Put Up, Sturdy and Stays Put
This bar appears to be well made and it went up pretty easily. Adjustment was simple. Once tightened up, I didn't have any sense that it might slip at all. There's no wobble or anything in use either. The leveling floats were useless though. At least one appeared not to have been put in straight, and it was very obvious that using them would make the bar very crooked in the doorway. I only took off one star for that.

The one thing I needed from a pull-up bar was to trust it — this one earns it
I've been skeptical of doorway pull-up bars for a while. The idea of hanging my full bodyweight from something wedged between two pieces of trim, with no screws, no anchoring, nothing permanent — it always felt like a setup for a bad morning. I kept putting off buying one because I kept imagining the bar sliding mid-rep. That's the thing nobody talks about enough with these: it's not really about whether it works, it's about whether you can mentally commit to the rep without bracing for the floor. This one fixed that for me. The triple-lock system is what sold me once I got it in hand. There's a twist-lock on the extension, an automatic safety pin that drops into place, and a threaded center support — three independent points of contact all doing their job at the same time. I tested it before I ever trusted it with my weight: twisted, pushed, yanked, tried to rotate it. Nothing moved. That's the kind of thing you need to feel before you believe it, and it holds up. The built-in level meter is a detail I didn't know I wanted until I used it. Getting the bar perfectly horizontal took me about thirty seconds — just expand, watch the bubble, lock it in. I've used bars without one and you spend the first few reps noticing your grip feels slightly off on one side. That uneven loading adds up over time, especially if you're doing weighted work or high rep sets. The level here removes that variable entirely. Once I was actually hanging from it, the stability was immediate. No creaking, no micro-shifts, no sensation of the bar walking toward the edge of the frame. The PVC pads grip the door frame firmly without chewing it up, and after weeks of use my trim looks exactly the same as before. The foam grips are dense enough to handle sweat without turning slippery, which matters more the further into a set you get. For 440 lbs of rated capacity, the steel construction feels appropriately solid — not light and hollow the way cheaper bars do when you knock on them. At 4.41 lbs the bar itself is light enough to move between rooms or take down and store without it being a project. A few things worth knowing before you buy. Measure your door frame opening carefully — this comes in multiple size ranges and the wrong one won't fit securely, which defeats the whole point. It's also not compatible with glass or hollow-core doors, and I wouldn't push that. And like any doorway bar, the position sits inside the frame rather than over the top, so you'll want reasonable ceiling clearance above the door. If your main concern with a doorway pull-up bar has always been whether you can actually trust it, this is the one I'd point you to.
