Wagner Spraytech 0529011 FLEXiO 570 Handheld HVLP Paint Sprayer, Sprays Most Unthinned Latex, Includes iSpray Nozzle, Complete Adjustability for All Needs Multi-Colored

I was a little skeptical buying this paint sprayer with it being relatively inexpensive. I used it first to paint my porch, which has plenty of spindles. It worked really well, but lots of overspray, with nothing behind the spindles. Probably not the best choice to use this. If you do, cover everything. I spent an hour power washing my exterior after it was done. It does save you paint, regardless of overspray. I thought I was going to go through the paint reservoir in a matter of minutes. It lasted way longer than expected, with infrequent refills (sometimes a good half hour to an hour before I had too). Also, if you are painting over with the same color, it is really hard to tell how much paint it is putting out. So, the next day I was hesitant, as I was painting our 2 metal garage doors from light brown to white. I didn't want to deal with clean up. I started on the bottom panels with a roller and trim brush. It was taking forever and the trim brush just mostly smeared the paint. Probably took an hour and a half just for the bottom section panels. I attempted the paint sprayer, and wow, I had a first coat on the entire 2 car and 1 car garage door in probably an hour or less. The difference in color you could really tell how much the paint sprayer was putting out. Second and third coat went even faster. I also rolled once more which was only a few minutes for each door. The sprayer saved me hours of work and little to no overspray at all. Really happy with the purchase. It's not perfect, but does save time and paint. Used less than 3 gallons for both projects. I wouldn't say it's the smoothest finish, due to occasional larger droplets (especially after stopping and starting again) or hovering over a spot for too long. But if you don't mind using a roller to smooth things out, it's worth the buy.

I purchased a Wagner Flexio 570 in March 2019. I received an upgraded front end which included the newest Ispray nozzle and the new volume adjusting ring, pretty much making my sprayer a Flexio 2000. I had looked at Wagner's website and the 570 they offered appeared different than that pictured on Amazon. I contacted Wagner and they told me the sprayer I was contemplating on Amazon did in fact have the Flexio 2000 front end. Out of the box this sprayer easily handled a latex primer and a few days later latex based paint. I used this sprayer primarily to repaint the eaves on my house and only did a little bit of vertical walls with it. It made the eave painting a heck of a lot easier than the last time I painted this house. That in itself made the purchase well worth it. Although the price is higher than the imported sprayers, this sprayer is far superior in every performance aspect. I would not hesitate to recommend it for your latex painting project.

Sprays well enough for most jobs that won't require precision. I use it for basement ceilings and it allows for good coverage and has decent control even for new users. It's overhead tilted spraying capability is good enough to get the job done, without noticeable clogging as long as you wipe the tip consistently. Paint loaded it's a bit of a workout, but no more so than other similar sprayers. It's easy to disassemble and clean, requires no special lubricants between usages, and can be fired back up right off your shelf. For the price, it's a great tool.

This is a follow up to my review below from a couple of months ago.. I started painting again with this and it is utterly a piece of <beep>. The nozzle continues to clog very quickly, causing the painter to start spattering. IF, and I stress IF you paint start to finish NON-STOP (not allowing any time for the paint to gunk up the nozzle, it will work. I attempted to paint some doors and supports and because of the stop and go effort in painting,it became a nightmare to try and paint anything evenly. I am now resorting to having to sand it own, and start over. It was a mess. Not sure what sprayer will work, but DO NOT BUY this one. Alright, started out reading the reviews and noticed most commented negatively that the paint starts splattering after a couple of uses. Now, once I started using it,it is an incredible, nice even coats, little on the heavy side full of paint, but overall I would have given it 5 stars. On the 3rd fill up of paint I noticed it started to gunk around the sprayer, I fully expected that I wiped it down and started spraying, within seconds it started splattering. Now it's because it is a very good fine sprayer that this probably happens. The paint starts drying up around the edges of the sprayer and by the time you stop, refill, connect everything back up, it causes an issue. It is a great sprayer, however, I am finding I have to thoroughly clean it after every 2 fill ups. Not efficient for painting a large area, like a house. Unless you have time.

I bought this to paint some knotty pine. Wow was it fast and easy. I painted in the groves no problems. Cleanup was easy too. Over spray was a real issue - next time I'll follow the directions and mask appropriately. The pressure worked with regular wall paint designed for single coat coverage. I wish I bought one years ago.

This sprayer is a bit heavy & so far the finish is no better than my lesser expensive sprayer that I've used for years. Wagner says you don't have to thin the paint, but if you don't then it can go on spotty & you'll have to sand before applying the next coat. Also, always filter your paint! Even though I did, the finsih was still not great. SO frustrating! There's a lot of overspray too because of the air pressure that makes the unit work. The pressure can be adjusted but with unthinned paint I haven't found that to fix the problem of spotty paint application. It is easy to clean & comes apart quickly. It's a good idea to run some water through it first before disassembling to clean. The cleaning brush that comes with it if flimsy & not very effective. Overall, I'm just not super impressed. I would have rather spent more money on a better sprayer than have to put up with the mediocre one! I bought this so I wouldn't have to thin the paint. But to get a good, smooth finish, you really should thin it out. Oh, and always test spray it before you start to paint whatever project you're working on. Lastly, don't linger in one spot for too long as the paint will pile up!

Two things I hate are moving and painting. Now it's just moving. I was redoing my deck and was dreading having to brush paint 110 deck spindles. I bought the Wagner 570 sprayer and to my surprise it was awesome. I laid all the spindles side by side and started spraying. WOW. It covered the spindles with no issues. Covered them quickly and evenly. The clean up is easy as it can be. Warm soapy water is all it calls for and it worked great. Looks like it came right out of the box. I used exterior paint and I did not have to dilute the paint. This is a great sprayer!!!!!! I read a review and a guy said it best. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you follow the instructions you will be super happy with it. I am.

Never used a paint gun so I read lots of reviews and ordered this gun- the directions are very thorough and easy to understand-this gun is less intimidating for the do it yourself person who doesn’t have a compressor and needs a all purpose sprayer- I primarily need it for furniture- I’ve used it twice and am Still getting used to technique- the practice paper is great to learn how to guide your gun - both of my furniture projects turned out great!! Iam pleased with the gun overall So far - I did need to thin my paint a little with water - there are also lots of YOUTUBE VIDEOS to help out as well.
