Easy rustic cooking
This cookbook has stood the test of time. My children were weaned on the simple pasta meals (I have added chicken or prawns and additional vegetables to suit different needs) and am still using them today. I have served the dips and sauces along with cocktail nibbles at drinks parties; the ever adaptable Toad in the Hole and Tuscan bean soup to hungry lads; I have got difficult teenagers to join in with cooking enchiladas and found inspiration over the years in only the most basic cupboard essentials. I bought this reprinted copy for my delighted 26 year old son and it arrived promptly in pristine condition!

Five Stars
These recipes have always been good but are perhaps a little bit dated now but still worth having.

Great recipies
I already had this book and bought it as a present for someone who turned veggie for medical reasons. It is full of fabulous things to make - especially the puddings, cakes and cookie section which may of many friends have consumed to great delight .By the way - I'm not a vegetarian - so you don't need to be vegetarian to enjoy good healthy and tasteful food

different to the 2 previous books - "home cooking" & "vegetarian home cooking"
The conversion charts are still missing, there is no starting expalanation, instead there is s shorter version at the back, but you do get seasonal menus at the front, and there seems to be a lot of new recipes throughout the book
