My plastic surgeon recommended this product to use after my mastoplexy (breast reduction with lift) incisions healed. I had two portions of scars that was raised and that is the area she suggested using New Gel. I cut it into strips and applied to the scars. Adhesive worked well and continued sticking after multiple uses. I saw results within a few uses - less raised, reduction in appearance. I will continue using this product!

I had surgery twice on elbow within a year, six inch incision. Scar the size of thin rope or thick twine. My PT put a piece of this on the scar and I wore a compression sock to keep it secure. After 7 day the "rope" was gone. Of course the incision is still there but the raised skin is gone. I have no idea how this works but it did.

I have been using this product for 2 years which I have been ordering from the NewGelPlus company so I know how to use it. I brought this item from Amazon because it was 2 day shipping and I am very sorry I did. It does not stick properly and loosens in a few hours. Will NOT stay in place for for even 2 hours. The sheet I buy directly from the company will not loosen and will remain in place until I remove it. I wear this product continuously removing only to clean skin and then reapply. It even holds tight when I perspire. It does work by diminishing size and softening scar, decreases pain,and itching. I will call Amazon customer service on Monday to see if this complaint can be resolved. Will post an update.

love that you can cut this into whatever shape you need. last a long time. doesn't peel off easy. will blend with skin if you have fair skin. my scars are almost gone. works great.

This gel sheeting is awesome. I cut it to the size and shape needed and it is extra sticky and works. I wash them every day and they hold up great. I think they are a little more durable than the clear ones.

Seems to be working in terms of softening the large scar on my entire shoulder but the tackiness has worn off within 10 days (it was amazing at first). I'm allergic to every adhesive I know so I'm really pretty annoyed. This product is like 50 bucks and only comes with one sheet. Also, the silicone began significantly separating from the fabric backing after the first gentle cleansing. I am going to write the company to try to get a replacement or discount or something. **Update** TERRIBLE customer service. Called to see if I could get a replacement or discount or even tips to help with increasing the tackiness and the lady was super bizarre on the phone and kind of rude for no reason. Insisted I didn't have their product, which is insane since I have the product and the original packing. Said I bought it through Amazon and gave her the seller's name and was told they only sell directly to people. Wha?? haha Kept cutting me off when I was going out of my way to be polite, said she'd have a manager call me back. We'll see. 1 star for the quality of this product taking into account the specs it promises and the frustrating unhelpful customer service. If you're spending 50 bucks on a single product and it only lasts for 10 days, you're gonna be rude to your customer? Like, really...? **Update** Supervisor promptly called me and was exceedingly helpful and lovely.

These will not stay on. A waste of money. I bought these ahead of time so, by the time I tried them, it was too late to return them. A lesson learned...
