Great book, great price! Kids love it!

This was a fun book for my preschool class...I'm a speech pathologist at a child development center and was looking for an interactive book that would engage 3-4 year olds of differing developmental stages. It was a little tricky to see the pictures, but the kids enjoyed the anticipation and surprise of sea creatures. I had a mixture of disappointment and excitement with the animals pictured...most were unfamiliar to the kids, which was great for variety, but maybe a little too different for this age. But, they loved taking turns using the flashlight (you'll almost have to use a phone) to discover something new and every one of them scooted up as close as possible to see what was next. It was a little tricky holding the flashlight and the book open to be able to see everything, but that was maybe because I was holding the book outward rather than inward. Still, fun and interactive book that easily engaged all 16 kids!

These books are so much fun...for parents and kids. The addition of the flashlight reading adds an extra element to together time reading.

This is my 3rd Shine a Light book and my favorite one. These books shed so much knowledge to kids without even forcing them to learn. It's very enthusiastic for them and also for the parent. All these books are great!

My granddaughter loves these books that one can shine a flashlight through. Lots of fun for her and her mommy.

Bought for grandchildren and gave the local school a copy. Children love using the torches to find the hidden pictures. Do you get flat-pad torches, I wonder? that would be easier for little people.
