Enjoy it good picture quality loved the characters

One of the best anti hero character movie. Film has kept all simple yet entertaining. There was no confusion about how the movie started and ended, as all were perfectly placed. Tom Hardy no doubt as always different and bring something fresh. No question to the talent he has and should be use by marvel where they could. It's sad though Venom will not be the part of avengers in near future same like wolverine. Wherein this could have been gone to another level of greatness. Well but since after credits they have now revealed that sequel to Venom is confirmed so thing will be exciting. Great display of acting and direction. Script is handle very well with good visuals. Yes the villain could have been more stronger but it worked out pretty well with Riz Ahmed. Michelle Williams looks really different and great from way she looks. I suggest this is worth watch movie at least once if now twice. Audience can enjoy Tom Hardys acting and won't find it difficult to understand as subtitle is available in English. That's one thing good about Sony Pictures. In fact all Hollywood movies should have English subtitles in Indian Theatres as their accents is difficult to understand and may not have fun if not understood. I do recommend it and have seen venom: let there be carnage. Brilliant as well!

I had this on my list to look at for quite some time and as it's lockdown and I am going up the wall with boredom I took the plunge and fired up my DVD Player and settled down.Tom hardy plays Eddie Brock and investigative journo who opens his mouth to a powerful industrialist and gets himself and his girlfriend fired. due to this his life goes down the pan and he loses everything. Just as his life really hits the bottom he becomes host to an alien lifeform and it integrates into his body. His then starts to hear the aliens voice and thinking he is going insane he flips out in spectacular fashion. Ass he is now a host to the lifeform he develops amazing super human powers which are really something else (I wish I had these TBH). . My favourite part is when he is first "Infected" and he goes to a restaurant where he sees his ex during which time he really looks ill and he can't get the voice of the alien out of his head and he gets hot so he climbs in to the Fish tank to cool off. I don't want to spoil it but this film has really got some very excellent special FX and is exciting to watch. I really want there to be a second film and maybe one more after that too.

Venom is separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and doesn't feature or make any references to the characters featured in those films. I'm a fan of the genre and found a lot to like here. The relationship between symbiote and host is highly entertaining and leads to some great action sequences and moments of humour. Tom Hardy does really well in the lead role and finds a way to make the character(s) work. The action sequences are good though not MCU level of scale/complexity. Likewise the plot is quite straightforward, though I don't mind that personally. Lastly, the film is rated 15 and in my opinion there are sequences of horror/violence here that certainly justify a 12 at the least.

I am not a Marvel comic book reader and the recent influx of 'Superhero' movies at the cinema made me hesitant to order this film. However, I know that no matter how bad a film is, Tom Hardy always gives a great performance and so I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. This movie will appeal to Marvel comic enthusiasts and those who have never heard of Marvel equally. From beginning to end it is fast-paced, really well written and Tom Hardy is excellent in this role. He is brilliant at comedy. From the beginning of the film, I was hooked and didn't want the film to end. I especially enjoyed the cameo by Stan Lee. So if you are looking for a film that does not takes itself too seriously and is a bit of fun, I highly recommend 'Venom'.

Great film

I also cannot understand why this got such a panning by the so called critics. Great anti-hero story, and Tom Hardy (as always) excels. The script is not as awful as these people make out in my opinion - yes, the sporadic humour included is very basic, but it works and does not take over the movie. The special effects are first class. And yet these same critics applauded Thor Ragnarock which IMHO was the worst of all the Marvel films. Although I was brought up with Marvel, I never came came across Venom, so this was a first time for me unlike all the other movies. It sold me immediately. So, ignore the critics. Great plot, great script, superior direction, great effects plus you get Tom Hardy. Watch it and draw your own conclusions.

I love this film sooooo much - it is hilarious! The only thing is that I miss so much of the funny stuff because I am still laughing at the previous scene - I think it's going to take a hell of a lot of viewings to catch everything. I was blown away by Tom Hardy in this film - he is outstanding! The way he blends seamlessly from the sweet, having a really bad time Eddie Brock to the brutal, kick ass "we are Venom" is amazing - the best thing is that he still manages to be hilarious in both roles. I honestly cannot understand how this film has not got 5 stars off everyone - I would personally highly recommend this film it is awesome! :)

Edward Thomas Hardy is VENOM!!!!!!!!! A great dvd, new and it arrived in a great packaging and quickly. I was super excited to see Tom. Hes an amazing actor and this movie is one of my favorites!!!
