Wooden Drawer Slides 16 Inches Classic Wood Center Guide Track with Slide Glides (1 Pair)

Easy installation. Had to trim to fit because it was a little longer than the original.

The design and quality of the wood is solid. I just needed to drill 2 pilot holes for the 2 screws to attach to the base of the drawer opening. I used Gorilla glue and 2 more screws to attach the second piece to the bottom of the drawer. I appreciated the metal plate to reinforce all in place. I read prior reviews and used the recommendation to wax both pieces to help them slide easily. Works perfectly and hopefully this dresser will last another 40 years!

I can give these 5 stars for good movement but that is all. The predrilled holes (and no screws provides) do not support a screw thickness sturdy enough to withstand everyday use for a drawer and if you use anything bigger than a 1/16 screw, you will split the wood. Don’t even try to drill a new hole.

My wife and I had purchased a used 5 drawer dresser and one of the drawers was missing it's original slide (a known issue at time of purchase. I was to do the repair and needed a new slide. This slide installed easily and was a perfect fit. As a matter of fact, it was a tad too long and can be easily cut to the proper length. The drawer works great!

Seems to be slightly to tight of a slip groove. Maybe swelling with humidity? I have to give it more cycles to see if it slides easier with time. It fit well to replace crappy worn, broke metal slide.
