We got this for our living room in the 8x10 size and it works great. The rug we bought was a little thin and we have vinyl flooring in that room so we wanted a little bit more padding to make it more comfortable when we walked on it.This pad was perfect for our needs. It is thick and adds the comfort we needed to our rug. It isn't so thick that the rug is lifted off the ground, but just enough. It has a non slip back as well to make sure the rug stays in place. We did have to cut it down a little bit, and that was a little more difficult than I was expecting, but I think that speaks to the quality of the pad - it won't just fall apart.It does come folded up and had a slight odor but it dissipated quickly and didn't take long at all for it to lay flat on the ground. Overall we are very happy with this rug pad and would recommend this brand to anyone who needs a rug pad.

This is a nice pad and keeps our rug from slipping and gives a little cushion too. It does run true to size so if we don’t get the run down exactly, we may have to trim a bit. I would purchase again.

This is an excellent rug pad. It is thickly padded making our new area rug very comfortable. It does not slip. We got the 10’x 14’ and it laid flat and was very easy for us to get into place.

This foam rug pad is exactly what I was looking for to add some cushioning to my living room area rug. The rug I have is pretty thin, so walking on my hardwood floors all the time was uncomfortable and hurting my knees; this foam rug pad is thick, cushiony, and provides the support I needed to comfortably walk on my rug and even lay down on it without straining my feet/knees! The quality is great. I removed a star because I wish it had some adhesive to stick to my rug instead of just laying flat on top of it- sometimes my rug shifts on top of the foam pad, and I have to adjust it back into place. To fix this issue, you can get some carpet/rug tape to put on the corners of your rug to stick it in place. Otherwise, I would've rated it 5 stars. The size of the foam pad was accurate to the size of my rug and it didn't smell bad or have an odor when it arrived like some other reviews have mentioned. I'm happy with my purchase!

This is an excellent price point for the durability, and cushion it gives under your favorite area rug.

It is definitely a full size pad with actually a couple of extra inches. It works as advertised. The rug on top does not move and neither does the pad. I purchased the 1/4” pad six years ago for another carpet and it worked very well . So I purchased a 1\2” pad this time for another new rug. Love it

This carpet pad is exactly what I was looking for! I keeps my area rug from sliding and provides added cushion! It even holds up when my 95lbs dog gets the zoomies! It has a bit of a smell which is expected because of the material. I sprayed frebreze and baking soda. The smell was gone! It was easy to cut the access with utility scissors! My area rug is 8x10 for reference.

Love this pad! Easy to lay out and it stays in place. It adds a layer of cushion and comfort to the rug that I bought. I bought the 8X10 size and it fits perfectly under the 8X10 rug so you don’t see the pad at all.
