Not for 5" Monitors
I was skeptical when first seeing that it was somehow designed for both 4" and 5" monitors. Turns out I was right to be skeptical, because it does not work well for 5" monitors. For reference, this was on a SmallHD Focus SDI 5" monitor. Not near as good build quality as a Hoodman, but it'd suffice. Would probably be alright for a 4" monitor, but definitely not 5".

WAY too EXPENSIVE But Does the Job! Perfect for the Black Magic Assist 4K
I purchased this product to go with my Black Magic Assists 4K, as the BMA 4K does not come with a sun shade and has no way to attach a standard sun shade to it. This product works perfectly for the BMA 4K, permitting you to still access all of the in and out ports on the unit. There's really only one reason I can't possibly give this product 5 stars! The PRICE! In truth, I wish there was a way to rate the price separately from the product, as, based on functionality, this product does the job that it's intended to do, however, considering what the product is made of (cardboard, elastic, fabric and velcro, totaling roughly 2 lbs of material), there is absolutely no rational reason it should cost $60. Unfortunately, in the film industry, manufacturers will create unique products, such as this one, that offer a solution to a problem that no other product does, and because there is a great demand for the product and no competition, often times manufacturers will price gouge, which is what I believe happened here.

Sun protection
This is the best glare shield for Transfer Flow monitors. Plus it really fits.

You get what you pay for
Yes, this isn't cheap. However 100% you get what you pay for here. There is no other sun shade on that market that I have encountered that is anywhere near the quality of this one. All of the previous shades I have used are made from super cheap nylon that does not hold it's shape when unfolded. They flop to one side and are usually incredibly difficult to position correctly on your screen. This isn't an issue with the shade from Wooden. Once I attach it to my field monitor it holds it's shape perfectly. The construction of this shade is probably twice as thick as any other shade I have used before which is probably a big reason why it holds it's shape like it does. Look, if you are hobbyist and just need something cheap to get you through a shoot or two then by all means buy one of those other cheap sun shades here on Amazon. However if you are making a living in this industry of shooting video OR you actually want a product that is going to last you for years, well then that's why you pay more for a high quality like this from Wooden. Simply put Wooden doesn't skimp out or cut any corners anywhere. Me personally I'm happy to pay more for a shade like this that is going to outlast AND work far better than any other sun shade I have seen before. You get what you pay for.

Pricey but worth it
Nice quality. This is my first monitor hood. It does the job but I felt it was too small for my Atomos Ninja 5. It is very usable but not the best experience. It is probably best for 4 inch monitors even though I don’t know of any 4i inch monitor Overall it works great, a bit pricey but worth it.

Functional but overpriced
This works really well with my 702 Touch, it's quick to set up, doesn't impede on touchscreen use, etc. It's simple but highly effective. I just think it's pretty overpriced for what it is.

Too Big
I don't get it. I first ordered the 4-5 inch version for my Atomos Shinobi, it was too small. So I returned and ordered this one to fit my 6.5in monitor. This sun shade measures 9 inches in diagonal length! Way too big. Idk if they mislabeled it or what, but this was unusable.
