where are dinner plates and salad plates made?

Dinner plates and salad plates are made in England. Only the mugs are made in China. Also, you can purchase from Amazon teacups & saucers in sets which are made in England.

I gave this as a wedding gift and I did not open the box, so I can't tell you. Sorry!
