Toshiba 48U7653DB Compatible Rechargeable Active 3D Glasses

Brilliant. Work well with my toshiba tv. Came fully charged and quick delivery. Even though they are a little chunky and a little pricey, they’re great. Fit well over my glasses. Would of been 5 stars if they were cheaper.

One of the problems with Active 3D, apart from not being as big as companies hoped is finding the glasses that go with you TV (I've generally gone for 'Passive' but the only TV that had this cost too much)The first thing to point out is that these are NOT official Toshiba glasses (not even sure that any actually exist for the model in the description). Rather these are a Universal type designed to be adapted to a wide variety of TV makes (kinda like those all4one TV remotes)Consequently they did take a bit of tweaking to work properly.The first pair I used took a few minutes to work and when they finally did the 3D was inverted (Background coming forwards) and had to be worn upside down to get the right balance. But at least they finally worked (I will try to fix this and update)Pair 2 worked a lot better. Instantly recognised the TV (the Toshiba 48U7653DB) and gave a perfect 3D image with great depth. Tested on an early 3D film Monsters Vs Aliens which is a real litmus test and 3D was flawless with no ghosting.Most importantly the glasses feel pretty sturdy. Researching for it read that there is another set that can be quite flimsy. Not so much for these. Although you do only get one pair per pack so not terribly cheap. Still if you like to watch 3D films regularly and need some quality sturdy glasses these do a great job
