What is the dot on top for? How or when does it improve your shot? What's the explanation or physics behind it?

I posted a review exposing this scam product, but Amazon deleted it - they'll probably delete this as well. There is no physics behind it; it simply makes the ball spin fast. If you put the ball in this "alignment" device 10 times, you will get 10 different black lines around the ball. It does not find an "optimum equator" and it will not improve your shot in any way. Those are the facts, but other people may want to give you some "alternative facts."

where do i buy check-go pens

We no longer carry the replacement pens. I googled Pro Active Check and Go pens and up came a company that had the pens for sale.I hope this helps.

What replacement pen do you use?

Use a WASHABLE Crayola marker first to put temporary Center of Gravity spot and Straight line. Remove ball from spinner and use a Fine Tip Sharpie pen to permanently mark the Center Spot and then put the straight line on over the washable line. Let Sharpie marks dry and wash off washable marks. Use the washable marker to do the first marks cause if you use a Sharpie first you'll have messy ball marks. Replacement pens use a Sharpie.
