What it says. And it's pretty. And a magnet attracts it.
I like it, and it is just what the description says it is. This does appear to be a genuine garnet, because it is attracted to a magnet. Garnets are a very rare example of a transparent mineral that are attracted to magnets. It is obviously not fake. It's gemstone cut, the size of a little fingernail, a pretty shape and a pretty color.

I received a 1.95 carat stone with good color and no visible flaws. This was an unbeatable bargain. I would buy again.

Just sos you know it is smaller than a dime. Could be made into a ring...I dont have the wire wrapping skills to actually set this, it is a nice addition to the collection tho.
