I decided to try this probiotic because I was looking for something simple and affordable to support my digestive health. These capsules are easy to take and I like that they don’t contain artificial colors or flavors. It’s also great that they are gluten-free and vegetarian. The bottle comes with 60 capsules, which lasts a good amount of time if you take them daily. I appreciate that this product provides 5 billion CFU, which is a good option for everyday digestive support. I did a lot of research before buying this probiotic supplement. My main goal was to lose weight. I am not disappointed with the results this probiotic has benefited me. I have lost 49 pounds since starting them in June 2025, taking one every morning (along with other supplements/vitamins). I’m planning on taking them as a daily supplement even as I near my goal weight to maintain gut health. The capsule is small & easy to swallow. No after taste, stomach issues or burping which I find some supplements to do. The price point on this probiotic is another reason I purchased them, definitely a value for your dollar. Bonus: I’m feeling good and have more energy since I’ve dropped the weight and feel better all around. Taking this probiotic isn’t a quick fix weight loss solution as it’s a gradual weight loss, losing between 2-4 pounds weekly, it works naturally which is what I wanted. I suggest you do your research before purchasing supplements to find the best for your body and wallet 😉

Update: I up my dose to three a day and that seems to be perfect. I also added another star because these are the best probiotics I have taken. In my original review I compared these with other high quality probiotics I have taken in the past. I can now say these are without a doubt the best I have taken at a price that's incredible. 5 Stars all day I have just finished my 60 capsules supply (2 a day. 1 morning & 1 evening) . I'm a big component for keeping gut health in check and that's exactly what the probiotics do. No Miracle cure for any ailments or diseases but a quality probiotic that will aid in digestive tract functions. My biggest reason for taking these is the ability to absorb my multivitamin ( no more neon yellow pee) as well as regulate my gut health. I have taken some of the most expensive pro biotics and also have tried some of the cheap ones. These work perfectly for my needs and cost roughly half of what my local pharmacy charges for the same quality and quantity. I took away one star because there is no recommend dose on the bottle. If you're an average Joe like myself then two a day is a great dose. If you're a vegan then one a day will be just fine . I'm ordering my next bottle today.

Amazon Basics Probiotic 5 Billions CFU is a very good product. It is priced competitively and my doctor told me it is a good supplement to my diet. Highly recommended!

Easy to swallow but didn’t seem to work as well as others if you have stomach issues. Stomach did not seem to be balancing properly and gave me acid reflux

I’ve ordered this 3 times over the last 6 months the price went from $9.99 to $11.16 to now $25.00! It was affordable. The price gouging on all levels and all sectors of society is insane and shameful. (From a supplement taker of the past 34 years.)

It works pretty good .. I’m not sure about weight loss but I def feel better
