Growing in Christ: A 13-Week Course for New and Growing Christians

This book is an excellent resource for new believers in Christ as well as seasoned believers who desire to be reminded of foundational truths that are necessary for every believer to know, understand and believe as they desire to grow in their walk with God. It encourages Scripture memory with each lesson, as well as encourages the reader to dive into the Bible by providing Scripture references along with questions that require the reader to apply the Scriptures read to answer questions that identify key truths (related to the chapter’s topic) within them. I would definitely recommend this as a book that could be used for personal Bible study, as well as used in group Bible study (or in the discipleship of others).

Perfect study to share with a new believer

Bought 10 of these for a 'family & friends' home study. No, we're not all new believers, but we wanted to get back to the roots and focus on what it means to really have a relationship with our Creator & subsequent Savior. This study focuses on the most basic & important principles that all hang on scripture so it gives you confidence to put them into practice. It would be great if every new believer would go through this study!

This book is great for Bible Study and growing in Christ. The topics are very relevant and practical. New Christians or those who have been in the faith for a long time will find it useful.

We did this book with a high school class, the lessons are very easy to understand for this age group, but it's also useful as a refresher for adult and older Christians..

I have just finished taking a new believer through Growing in Christ. Although I have been a disciple of Jesus over 40 years even I was blessed by the content and Scriptures in this book. The new Christian I took through this study has grown noticeably in grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. I recommend Growing in Christ for all new believers.

For this to be a book about assurance, first of all the introduction alone, stating if you have to the best of your knowledge receive Jesus Christ, that statement alone is not assuring, there should be assurance in knowing that I receive Jesus Christ, not stating to the best of my knowledge so then there should be a scripture that states about repentance in a turning away from your sin and said you have revelations 3:20 stating here I am I stand at the door knock that scripture and it goes on about it but that scripture alone is not going to help someone repent of their sins where where is there anything about repentance? Where is there? Anything about turning away from sin that’s just saying that Jesus is at the door of your heart knocking if you hear Voice and let him in. OK but you need more than that you need to know OK why is he not being there and what do I need to do? I need to receive him I need to turn away from my sins. It states none of that so the introduction alone I close the book to me this is watered down

This book, is great for refresher courses or new comers of Christ. My church used these when I accepted Christ and I still used it(obviously). I bought this for a person I know that has recently accepted Christ. You Will Not Regret Buying This Book. It has Memory verses, it breaks down what it means to accept Christ, how to get to the Kingdom. It like an "Accepting Christ For Dummies" book. The information is simplified but at the same time allows you to know the importance.

I am not happy with the ebook order. I cannot read the words at all the letters are super blurry... It looks like someone scanned the book with a bad scanner.
