Oregano Oil is an awesome, multi talented oil that is effective against a host of things that invade our bodies and make us sick. Oregano oil naturally contains phenols that have antioxidant properties and multiple vitamins and minerals as well. In testing, it has found to be effective against bacteria, fungi and even parasites. Topically, oregano oil is used to treat skin conditions, repel insects and relieve pain. It's even found to be effective (in lab testing) against MRSA, which is a multi drug resistant bacteria that is responsible for millions of dollars worth of hospitalizations annually in the US alone. I keep Oregano Oil on hand in both the oral form and in the essential oil form. I've used it to treat an abscessed tooth, to help eliminate a nasty case of plantar warts (in conjunctions with other oils), to rid myself of candida overgrowth and to fend off upper respiratory infections. Solgar Wild Oregano Oil is one of my favorite supplement forms of oregano oil, as the softgels actually contain the oil in it's proper form and not dried out like you'll find in some capsules.
