Timex Men's Ironman Transit 40mm Watch

Great watch for Runners and everyone else!
I bought this Timex for 26$ and i can't complain a bit. I'm a runner that needed a New Watch for the long runs and the speed workouts, so i needed it to be sturdy, easy to read and water resistance. This watch fills all my needs and more because it does look VERY nice (compared to other ironman watches and casio watches in the same price range ). Recomended! Also if anyone is complaining about the user manual you can just search for any ironman tutorial, works the same way.PROS:- Very easy to read (at least in the non negative display, the letter are big and the symbols too).- Not big nur bulky (i'm male but i have a very thin wrist).- Very Intuitive .- Looks Nice.- DO THE JOB WELL. 2 Time mode, Chrono with 10 lap memory is just fine, timer and alarm are easy to set.- Sounds loud enough to wake you up.CONS:- The silicone strap can be annoying for some people and it does not feel THAT comfortable when wearing the watch all day long.- The buttons feel sturdy but their action feels a little hard for my taste.- If you are a RUNNER you can find a little annoying the time you have to be pressing RESET to reset the chrono, nothing that you can't get used to.Overall i've been using this product 2 months and i give it 5 stars because just like others Ironman watches this model probably won't last long in the market and the TRANSIT reference probably won't get a boost from these feedbacks. Still, very happy with my purchase. I hope to be using this for years to come so let's hope for the best. If you can grab one, do it while you can ;)

Best non-smart watch you’ll find at any price
I have tried about 15 digital watches, from Nixon to Freestyle to Bulova to Sroko to Casio to Yunk to Timex. All returned. This Timex is the only one that doesn’t look cheap or like it belongs on my 21-year-old boot camp physique (25 years at) or ask me to look at $150 for a plastic watch that doesn’t need to be recharged every 18 hours. It’s got a classic look, large digits with the date and a few simple functions that don’t intrude on my time 18,000 times per day. Thank you, Timex for making a simply designed digital watch for adults and at a great price point.

Great watch but not a fan of the resin strap
This is the third Ironman watch I have owned in 20 years. My first was the original from the late 80s. I then bought one in 2015. And this one, the Transit, is the most recent model of Ironman to date (2019). I opted for the black dial with gray bezel. Of the three Ironman I've owned, this one is the lightest on my wrist. It’s different in that I don’t recall Timex ever making a black digital quartz. I wanted to see for myself how it handled with daily use. In bright sunlight it can be hard to read at certain angles but still legible. It matches well with any color of clothing. The legendary Indiglo feature is always nice to have. The square design is rounded around the corners and feels comfortable. Only gripe I have is that the resin strap picks up lint easily when wearing. Only thing I like about the strap is the clasp with the Timex logo. That looks classy but I’ll eventually be replacing it with a canvas one instead. Ironman watches have always been designed to be worn for sports and workouts. This one fits that niche nicely. Go jogging, hit the gym, take a swim, it’s what it was meant for. Other things I like: numbers are large and easy to read. It has everything you need: a chronograph, timer, alarm, and most importantly it keeps accurate time. I am giving this 4 stars because I like the design of the previous generation more.

Great watch!
I've had it about 6 months and haven't had a problem. It is easy to read, the Indiglo light is easy to read in the dark, and has all the functions I wanted in a basic, everyday watch.

awesome watch!
I bought this watch for my fairly physical job. I originally bought one that was much cheaper and it did not keep the time. This watch is awesome. Very comfortable, durable, the screen is very easy to read, it has all the functions you could want, and looks nice! Great value for the price, especially since I got it here for $32 and when on the brand website and it was listed for $50.

Screen is a little dim
Nice looking Timex, but the picture shows a bright display. The display is rather dim. Hard to read at all from many angles which is irritating. It is only bright when you push the button to illuminate a night display. Kind of expensive for a watch that you can barely see. I should have returned it but i really wanted to like it.

Great negative display watch
This watch is great. I had tried several negative display watches before and this one is very legible. I had no issues reading the time outside in the sun at any angle. It is fairly small, which is great when you don't need GPS, letting you have a smaller watch that doesn't need to be charged all the time. The strap is made of resin, so it isn't as soft as silicone or rubber. However, this does mean it doesn't attract lint (this would be an issue for silicone straps). The strap holder actually has a notch that fits into the end of the strap to keep it securely in place.

As advertised
I've had a ton of Ironman watches. This functions just like the others but with a larger display and the design is less gaudy. It's easy to read and the Indiglo works very well. The rubber on the strap is a bit harder than my previous watches so it's not 100% as comfortable as my old ones but I'm still completely satisified. Happy so far.

Easy to set/read, robust, good looking
I'm very happy with this watch, it's really the first watch I had where I had no problems seting the time/date everytime when it changes, by myself. The setting mechanism is very intuitive, the fluorescent mode is bright and overall feels good on my hand. I work as a Paramedic and I#ve used this watch in very harsh conditions, out there in missions, day or night, but also in my free time. I also take it with me while cycling, very sporty too. The green button gives it anice aesthetic touch. It's not too big, but for my skinny whrist it fits perfect. 10/10

RELOJAZO

great watch, not sure about the strap
I am getting old (55+) and need glasses to read (only). Hard to read all my other watches but this one is really easy to see (an use) when I don't have my readers on. I would have given it 5 stars but the velco strap is acceptable and not as easy to put on as a normal strap. I worry it the velcro will not last as long as the watch. Velcro picks up fuz and stops working after a time and typically other Timex that I have owned last for years... You can get the rubber strap on the same watch but not in the gray that I ordered. If you like the Velcro, then it is 5 stars.
