This socket is what we have needed for FOREVER! will save you so much effort in getting that dang bolt loose. if you are looking at it, BUY IT. its a wonderful addition to my tool box. on my Dewalt impact gun it takes about 1.3 seconds to pop loose. have fun!

Works great for Honda crank bolts. I usually don’t have issues with a regular socket but this definitely gets those stubborn ones out with ease.

You will need more Impact Wrench Torque to get the job done
The Acura RDX Harmonic Balancer Bolt laughed at this tool when used with a 650 ft-lb IR IR ThunderGun. I then purchased a 3/4 inch ACROPow Impact wrench which uses Milwaukee M18 Batteries and using a 3/4 to 1/2 inch adapter made short work of removing the bolt. The 3/4 inch wrench measured 830 ft-lb with the Red Lithium Battery I used by YouTube channel TorqueTest. If I upgrade to M18 Forge Batteries then the wrench can provide a measured 987 ft-lb. Bottom line is you will likely need a more powerful impact wrench to overcome the challenging Honda/Acura Harmonic Balancer Bolt and the image is the combination using this socket which got the job done for me
