Decent: Good for the price
Whether you will like this coffee or not depends on what you are already used to. Not going to lie, I only purchased this because of the price. Trying to go with economy options these days. My favorite coffee is Starbucks French Roast or Italian Roast made in a french press, for comparison. 365 By WFM, Coffee Pacific Rim Vienna Roast smelled pretty good upon opening the bag. Not too bitter and reasonably fresh. The beans are nice and dark and somewhat oily (that's good). My 32oz french press usually takes 20grams of beans (5 level coffee scoops) for the richness and flavor I like in a strong coffee, and I drink it black. This coffee was watery tasting at 20 grams of beans. I upped it to 30 grams for the next pot and it came out pretty decent. I could get used to this and drink it without any complaints. Is it as good as my usual coffee? NO. Is it good enough at only half the price? YES. If you like coffee house coffee and usually drink it doctored up with sweeteners and creamers I doubt you'd have any complaints about 365 By WFM, Coffee Pacific Rim Vienna Roast. Even drinking it black is OK.

Tasty and a great price; slightly acidic.
Great deal and a generally nice, smooth-tasting coffee. The roast seemed a little darker than I was expecting. Maybe because of this it's a bit more acidic but this was easily solved by mixing it down with other beans. Now I enjoy combining it with other beans and creating my own blend! Can't beat a big bag of Fair Trade beans at such a good price.

Good for store bought. 365 Pacific Rim Vienna
I usually roast my own GOOD coffee but it's honestly a hassle (the smell) so I haven't done it recently. In the interim I bought this presumably Indo blend and have been happy with the results. The reason I chose this is because the price was around half off. The best by date was around 5 months away which usually means this is a 7 month old coffee. Nothing unexpected. First off, the roast level of these look in the gray zone between medium dark and vienna which is perfect for me. Not super dark, not too much grinder-clogging oils. I was expecting more oil from a bulk roasted vienna. Still plenty of aroma, as expected from an oily darker roast. The taste. My experience with grocery store coffees is that the first brew taste great but the stale flavors get rapidly picked up already by the next day. This is usually because it was kept "fresh" from nitrogen packing. So the first brew is fantastic. Exactly what I expect from a standard Sumatra blend. Lots of earthy bean taste. Doesn't have any spice or smoky notes. Medium body, medium sweetness, no astringency from underripe cherries. Bitterness is low enough to drink black and no perceptible acid. I'm not expecting the next brews to taste as good but I got my moneys worth from this Whole Foods brand.
