This is a rare little phenomenon
Some products that aren't name brand work well and last long. Bicycle gear generally doesn't fall under that category. It's a rough and tumble, vibrating, wet, dirty world out there (don't you dare say that's what she said). This little light is a rare exception. It's made well, constructed strongly, and operates impeccably. On top of that, it's incredibly cheap and looks excellent. I'm a bit of a design obsessive—I searched for a good while for a small, discrete, intuitive, sleek brake light. I found a surprising few of them, some of which were impossible to acquire (like the long dead Kickstarter project "Blink Steady"), some that just didn't entirely look the part (like the the "Fixed" bike lights made by "Sparse"), or some that were cool as hell but frankly unwieldy and a maybe a bit too try-hard (Revo Lights).I found these little buggers on amazon somehow, and really liked the interesting circle design, the tiny footprint, the reviews of people bugging out about how good it was, the fact that it had an accelerometer and lit accordingly, and that it was built with an all-metal, well sealed casing. I also really liked how it sat so high on the seat post, tucked under the seat. It looks cool as hell, it's discrete, and it works great.Bravo [whoeverthefuq] for making this great little light!

This is the brake light to get since it includes both mounts
This brake light has 2 mounting options. I use a seat rail bike bag for my flat kit so the seat rail mount for this light wouldn't work. The seat post mount works fine on my road bike.I have gotten a lot of compliments on this light from my group ride members. Pulsing works fine in the daylight and the light is even more visible at night. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and recharging is acceptable. The only negative I have related to this light is more related to my specific situation and no issue with the light. I have an Aero frame road bike and it is significantly faster than my group mates (especially on downhills) where I will overtake them even while just coasting. I have to feather the brakes which without this light no one would be aware of, but now the brakelight activates and it startles some of the other riders lol. This brake light works well, has good sensitivity, decent battery life and is very visible thanks to the 2 mount methods. I highly recommend this light to my family, friends and group mates.

** Works As Described, BUT... **
...it was missing the main part I paid extra for.Let me explain: This Nkomax Smart Bike Light was purchased for the intention of using it when I ride my electric skateboard, so I do not have a seat to mount it on. To remedy this, I also purchased a horizontal post mount that can clip on to a GoPro mount on my helmet that would work well with this Nkomax Smart Bike Tail Light. Unfortunately, the missing part was the "Extra Strap" that was intended to wrap around the post. I only received the Smart Light and a Saddle Mount, but no "Extra Strap", again, which is the only way I can mount it to my helmet. Without it, I can not use it.I then did a major search looking for an Extra Strap and ran into another (in my opinion a better) alternative.I wrote back to this seller about the missing strap at the same time ordering the new Smart Light which arrived shortly thereafter. Since I had both Smart Lights with me, I recorded a side-by-side comparison and came to the conclusion that the latter Smart Light (sold by Luditek) better suits my needs.I will be posting the video comparison of the two smart lights on my YouTube Channel: JohnsonHipona. Stay tuned! The Smart Light sold by Luditek was an even brighter, lower profile, plugs in directly to a USB port for charging without a cord, and it was about 25% cheaper at the time if this posting.Though I did not keep the Nkomax Smart Bike Tail Light, it did work as described. The housing feels like it is made of aluminum and very sturdy. It also has an auto-on mode which is convenient, the other light does not. It also features 20 LEDs nicely lined up in a circle, the Luditek light only has 4 LEDs, yet the 4 LEDs seems to be much brighter in my comparison.Hope this review was informative &/or helps you in any way.Best Regards,Johnson

Love it so far
I disagree with reviews that claim that this light is not bright. It is not going to blind anyone who looks directly at it, but is brighter than most cycling lights, and more than sufficient for letting others know where you are. I especially like the round light design-- it helps with visibility, and it looks good aesthetically.I also like that it turns on and off by itself (on the "automatic" setting), and has an accelerometer that causes the taillight to flash automatically when you brake. Well made, it weighs almost nothing (despite having an all-metal case), seems water-tight, and the battery lasts as advertised (so far).I am using it with a seat bag; I loosened the seat bag straps just a little bit, and the light now fights nicely between bag and saddle.

Don’t pay for the extra mounts
The light itself is actually quite nice, well made, and small enough to leave permanently mounted on your bike. Battery life has been very good so far, brightness isn’t extreme or anything but it’s bright enough to be seen. My only complaint is that I paid for the extra mounts but received only the single mount, which means I can’t really transfer it to my other bikes like I wanted to. Kind of a rip-off if you ask me. But the light itself is nice

Bad design
Rubber mounting hardware keeps disconnecting from the metal light, requires screwdriver to fix it. Needs to be unscrewed to charge or switch modes which is annoying. The battery life is good since it turns itself off and isn’t very bright. It’s getting use but I’d never buy it again when it dies or goes missing.

Nkomax Smart Bike Tail Light Ultra Bright
This works great. It attaches easily to my seat post with the alternative attachment. The light is bright and works great as a stop brake light via built in motion sensor and the charge lasts several rides before needing a recharge. This is a great tail light for a great price.

Great light and great customer service
Great light, but did not receive everything. The extra strap was not included.
