Nice product but would not spread wide enough for clamps on my diesel truck
The battery clamps on my dodge 2500 diesel truck are a bit oversize with various leads attached. the puller would not spread wide enough to grip the clamps securely. Otherwise a really nice product for the average battery clamps.

great little tool
I didn't even know such a tool existed until I could not get the negative cable off of my 2010 Dodge Challenger. It was very strange because It was the original battery with no corrosion. After an hour of twisting, tugging pulling and cussing, I went to Youtube and one video featured this tool. I ordered and got it next day. It worked line a charm! Well worth the price...Also sturdy and well made.

Its a good one
Many of these pullers won't fit under the terminal lug. They are useless. This one works like it should. The threads are also smooth. If you are tired of the cheap pullers throw them in the trash and try this one. You won't regret it.

Not USA but good quality
I picked this product over other cheaper alternatives because product page showed origin as USA. The product has Taiwan clearly stamped on the metal. Removing a star because I feel marketing was dishonest. Product worked for me and does appear to use high quality metal construction.

Awesome tool for removing wiper blade arms from a GMC Envoy! It succeeded where all others failed!
I used this product to remove a stubborn wiper blade arm from a GMC Envoy. I tried 2 other products and they both failed miserably (one was a cheapie but the other was a $40 unit). This thing worked as the wiper arm was fused on quite steadfastly. The "T" piece on the top is made of hardened steel and it did not bend at all like another cheap unit I purchased did. I really had to crank it to get the arm to release and this item worked wonderfully. I only wish this was the first one I purchased! To be fair, the $40 item I purchased would have worked if it were not for the poor design on the Envoy where the plastic cowl prevented it from being able to get under the blade, otherwise it would have worked perfectly.. but but bottom line is the GearWrench overcame the obstacles of the Envoy and got the job done! It is a steal at $17 bucks!

Sturdy build quality. No problems with stubborn battery terminals.
This battery terminal puller is great quality, simple, and totally worth the slightly higher cost than the cookie cutter cheapo ones all over Amazon. I can look at this piece of hardware and know it'll stand up to all reasonable tasks, and won't likely break unless it is misused. I'm happy with the quality and price. Worth the wait since I don't think this was available with prime shipping.

Can No Longer Recommend
If you're in need of a puller for battery terminals this KD Tools/GearWrench puller is worth consideration. I've used mine on more than few corroded/stubborn battery terminals and it's popped them off with ease. So if you own a vehicle with a particularly corroded or otherwise stubborn battery terminal, this puller would certainly prove useful to you.UPDATE: January 2017: After a fellow coworker borrowed this tool for a very stubborn rear wiper arm and had this puller break on them and having this tool fail to work on many wiper arm styles on current model vehicle over the past 2 years, I have to downgrade the rating to 3 stars and say, do NOT buy this tool to pull wiper arms and expect success. The shape of the arms and construction means you either not be able to get this puller underneath the arm to pull it or you may face similar tool failure on particularly corroded arms. I have since had the broken puller replaced with another one of these, with the new one being strictly for battery terminals (which is still does quite well) and I'll be looking into a separate puller for wiper arms.UPDATE: May 2022: For the second time this puller has broken. This time one of the legs of the puller has cracked and I haven't used this puller on a single wiper arm. It's only been used on battery terminals. At this point, I'm giving up on the GearWrench version of this tool. It just isn't built well enough to last even occasional use (not often I need a puller for battery terminals).
