Good distance, easy to use, very versatile!
A reliable solid product with built-in future Tech for those early techie adapters! I wanted this product as a Bluetooth bridge between my phone playlist and my outdated receiver. This product delivered, virtually zero delay between transmission, and good range in my condo. I no longer am tied to the receiver and can change my music from my kitchen my bedroom the bathroom, or porch. Yes you can connect and stream to two devices at the same time, and is great to have as an option. I absolutely love that there's so many connection options RCA, 3.5 mm, and optic in and out. Was very easy to connect just push the button twice and only one button on the device so no confusion. Very sleek-looking design, small and compact. Having a battery inside it is very handy, came charged right out of the box, when connecting dual devices in different rooms love this feature. This is the future Tech part of the device utilizing Bluetooth 5.0 it's Cutting Edge and the devices that I'm pairing it with aren't capable of accepting this Tech yet and would often one or the other device would drop signal, with time when I replace these devices I believe it will work better. So if you're buying this device to use with two headphones to hear the TV at once make sure that they're 5.0 compatible. The drawbacks the product was advertised as 256 ft range, but found this to be about half. I also have a gigabit wireless connection and repeaters, and Metal in my walls that may interfere with the range.Overall this is a very versatile little box easy to use compact sleek with a good battery to maximize a multitude of uses. I could see buying a second one of these to better take advantage of transmit and receive functions.

Does not automatically reconnect with previously paired and connected iPhone
Have to manually press the pairing button twice each time I come home in order to reconnect my iPhone with the device.Other than this, the device is great: Has AAC codec for iPhone use, supports dual-connectivity, has very good range and connection stability. Unfortunately, the non-automatic reconnection is a showstopper for me since it happens every time I leave and come home.Additionally, the manual that comes with the device is incorrect about the number of LED flashes for the AAC codec. The correct number of flashes should be 6.

Easy setup and good range
Just purchased this recently so cant speak on long use but so far works great. Easy to setup and use. Has great range. I setup in basement and was able to go up to next floor and still worked. Was using an iPad to connect to receiver. This will both send and receive audio signal which is a plus too.

Does not work in transmit mode on a TV
This will not automatically pair with any bluetooth headphones while in transmit mode. Without an interface to select the device to pair so I could not use it. It seems to work in receive mode. Company was responsive and is sending a replacement.Received the replacement device. It was also faulty as a transmit device. If you want to use it as a tranmitter buy a device that only does that as you will have better luck.

Good solid BT connection with APTX and SPDIF out it works like a charm.
I was using Spotify on a Pixel XL2 casting to a chrome cast audio and SPDIF out to a Denon amp to satisfy my audio listening needs. The CCA was always disconnecting and difficult to keep a connection going. I was over it, having songs cut out mid way through was SOOOOOO frustrating, as well as the multiple try's to get it reconnected.Enough about the old- since I got the BW-BR4 I have had no issues with pairing the phone to the unit and keeping the connection when I moved about my house with my phone in my pocket. The Phone uses APTX so the sound quality is as good as if not better than the CCA.I use it plugged in to the mains adapter in RX mode only using SPDIF to connect to my amp, it does exactly what I want.

Bad reception, flake construction
Received it with the plastic ON button torn off, loose in the package.Managed to plug it back in, but it keeps falling out every 10th press or so. Not a major issue but a little annoying.I've only used it as a receiver so far. Reception is a mixed bag. Same location could be working just fine for a few hours, then you get random hiccups every few seconds and have to turn it off and on again. It has nothing to do with transmitter since the bluetooth headphones have no such connection issues or hiccups.I've had some other cheap BT receivers I've used before ordering this one. As this is a brand name, I expected better stability and much better construction. Disappointed on both counts.

Great range
I bought this because the cheap one I had kept losing connection. If I turned the wrong way or sat a foot too far it would lose connection. With this one, I can go behind the garage, go in the house, etc. and it never loses connection. The antenna is in the front of the garage. I've been in the house 40 or 50 feet from it and it still worked.

Excellent value, range and sound
Bought this guy to replace a cheap internal antennae unit and all I can say is there’s no comparison. This one has amazing range. Easily 4x my original unit. Sounds great with Apple Music using the AAC decoder as well which is more difficult to find in a unit (most only support SBC which is far inferior). You really can’t go wrong at this price.
