How does Amazon get away with charging $24 for an item that cost $9 in stores. Especially when some of us has bought Prime?

It says refrigerate after opening - do you have to? Or could these be kept at room temperature....like on someones desk for a while?

My family does not like them cold. They are kept on my pantry shelf. We go through a jar in a month and a half. I don't see or taste anything different from the time they are first opened till the last one is eaten. Taste, looks, and smells the same.

Yes they are X-large (jumbo). One pickle is like cutting up 3 regular size pickles. But they are very firm and taste wonderful.
