Less Than Happy Customer
I put AAA batteries into the remote and applied 12VDC to the power input pins, no response. So, I started looking for the issue. Pulled the control board out of the plastic module. The entire board is full of cold solder joints, gray dark colored joints instead of bright shinny joints. After a little I inserted AAA batteries into the remote and connected 12VDC to the power input pins, but there was no response. Therefore, I began investigating the issue. I removed the control board from the plastic module and noticed that the entire board has cold solder joints. Instead of the bright, shiny joints one would expect, they appeared gray and dark. Soon found the two pins in the attached photo loose and ready to fall out. I cannot return the module, I took it apart. Save yourself $30 and leave this non-performing piece of electronic hardware at the manufacturer.

Only the direction button works. The one to control forward or reverse doesn't work.
I don't like that I wasted my money on a product that's literally useless. I bought this controller to use on my toddler son's ride on electric car, so he won't take off too far with it and end up in a possible dangerous situation. But the controller doesn't work, unfortunately.I waited so long to write this review because I JUST set up the car and remote for him yesterday. It was an early birthday gift to him(the car) his birthday is next month and he will be two, but now we can't use the car because of the remote.

Not a good product
Bought this and put it into a generic power wheels. It worked initially but then the forward/backward joystick died a few weeks later. Unfortunately it died right outside of the return window. :( Would not buy again.

Fix for a car that does not move
Hand held controler did not work with our best choice girls pink SUV but the power controller did, but I had to swapt the connector clip on the controller in order for our wiring harness to attach, if you need this controller because your car will not move this is the answer. Get the one with out the hand held controller though
