Good summer gloves
With COVID-19, our child is required to wear gloves through the summer and we were looking for a pair with mesh that wouldn't be too hot. They run a little on the small side (our child has small hands and they fit well but a 12 yr old with larger hands may find the gloves too small). She says they are comfortable and lightweight and she expects them to be durable. We will probably buy a second pair to wear while one gets washed.

VERY, VERY SMALL
The two size options shown on the packaging are small or medium for these youth gloves, which Amazon lists as 6-8 or 10-12, respectively (don't get me started on why that doesn't make ANY sense). I ordered size 10-12 and there is NO WAY these are equivalent to gloves a 10-12 year old would wear. I'd say you could go up to a 6 year old at most. My (just turned) nine year old could barely pull them onto her hands, let alone bend her fingers.

Great for kids who use manual wheelchairs (and other kids too!)
Our daughter uses a manual wheelchair. Most gloves/mittens are made of cloth, which does not work for her as her wheels/guards get wet and so do her hands. These gloves are perfect for keeping her hands warm and dry.

Read carefully “synthetic leather”
I’m happy with the quality of these cute riding gloves for my 10 yr old granddaughter. They are well stitched, I’m sure she’ll love them especially since they’re purple.
