Strong and sturdy product

This item arrived safe and well packaged. This is a very simple but very strong chain! It has a spring clip at either end. This is designed for hanging a chair from a ceiling joist. It is very easy to use - just clip to ceiling bolt and clip to chair mount... done! But I am sure something this simple and durable will have a thousand uses! Hang anything from anything? Attach anything to anything? Use in the bedroom? Or the play room? I highly recommend this product!

I bought this chain given the popularity and high rating of the reviews but the quality is awful. I'm sure physically the chain can withstand everything you could throw at it but the aesthetics and finish quality are not worth the price. The steel used is industrial style galvanised steel - the sort of finish you'd find on cheap industrial steel fencing - and the welds are right in the middle of the chain links rather than on the end where they'd be hidden. I've attached a pair of pictures showing the quality difference to a stainless steel chain purchased as a replacement. This was only £5 more and the finish quality is night and day. If you don't care about what it looks like and need to save £5 then fine, it'll do the job, but there are much higher quality products out there.

I used this chain to attach our boys hanging chair. The chain looks good quality and that it will withstand quite a bit weight. It was easy to put up and looks durable for sure. We haven’t tested the weight limit of 230 kg though as I am sure the hanging chair won’t withstand.
