Safe and Comfortable
Inexpensive but well made and is comfortable. It is easy to adjust and fits me (220 pounds) and my 6 year old kid comfortably. Peace of mind when you need to accelerate or brake and they forget to hold on. You feel them slide back but they cant go anywhere. Outstanding product!

Perfect solution
I ride my 9yr old around. I love this thing, it’s perfect for those times where you need to accelerate and your kid isn’t doing their best job holding on. I can literally pick her up off the seat when I stand up. Very happy with this product. It’s made with durable materials and has a ton of adjustment. My favorite part is the chest and waist clips. Without this the wife wouldn’t let me take her out of the neighborhood. Now she does quick trips to the store all the time and is learning to lean a becoming a next generation rider!

A must have with kids and drowsy passengers (even adults!)
I just got this item a week ago, so I cannot rate it on durability. But I must give it a glowing review when it comes to usability and comfort! My 9 year old falls asleep within minutes of being on the bike, I always joke that she has got a case of motorcycle narcolepsy. I have a rear top box that supports her back, but this harness has been critical in supporting her movement from side to side. She is perfectly restrained while wearing and I have no fears of taking her on long rides. Incidentally, my wife has fallen asleep on very long rides as well, and not being very tall (only 5'4") this harness fits her as well. Although the harness is not rated for the weight of an adult, it definitely provides enough support for her side to side swaying if she momentarily dozes off. Of course if she were to really fall asleep we'd pull off, but it is added peace of mind. I think this harness is a MUST if you suspect that your passenger could doze off, even if only momentarily.

This saved my child's life!
I bought this harness a couple of years ago for my then 5yr old daughter to ride long haul trips on the motorcycle with me. We have been using it for such trips the past couple years. My daughter is now 7. Last week we left out on a trip and didn't make it out of town. Someone turned into us and hit us almost head on in our lane. My daughter and I were ejected from the bike and thrown over the vehicle that hit us. The police told me that the harness is what saved my daughter. Because of it, she could only go as far as I did and wasn't thrown an additional 20-30 ft away. And I took the brunt of the fall. My daughter ended up with a couple of cuts on her head and face and a black eye. No broken bones, no other trauma. When I returned home from the hospital I looked over the harness. It is fully in tact. No rips, no tears and no broken buckles. This is the best money I have ever spent on a safety device for her. I would recommend this product to anyone who is riding a motorcycle with their little behind them.

$55 for priceless bonding moments
The product is excellent and should be mandatory for all child riders under 10. The straps are durable, and my son likes the handles he can hild onto instead of my waist. We adjusted ours to allow for him to have some room to sit back and hold the passenger rear handles is he wants. It can be made much tighter so he is right up on me, but this was our compromising length. He puts it on first, and then I put it on like a backpack. This also put my wife at ease mith my son going on rides with me. For around $55, the bonding time my son and I get are priceless

Probably the best harness out there but not perfect.
So I looked at a number of harnesses available and this one seemed like the best. I've been out riding now for about three hours with my eight year old son who weighs about 50 lbs and it has worked well and seems quite safe. I would not ride with him having to grip my waist with me wearing my leather jacket. Getting my son into the harness is easy. Then I get on the bike and he climbs on after me and I put the front of the harness on myself. This is usually trickier taking a few tries to find the arm holes. My side of the harness is very secure having the arm straps, a chest strap/buckle and waist strap/buckle. No single point of failure. The harness is not coming off of me. On the passenger side there are the shoulder straps, the side strap/buckle and two hand holds. Again multiple levels of redundancy but I think slightly less effective. The hand holds rely on the passenger to use them and if the side buckle where to fail it would also make the shoulder straps less effective and the passenger could potentially fall out of harness to the side if the left shoulder strap where to come up over his/her head. Those are big ifs but I would feel better if the passenger harness also had a waist strap/buckle to keep the passenger secured into the harness. I may add a waist strap/buckle myself. I'll also inspect this thing before every ride to look for failures in the stitching, fabric, or plastic buckles. The hand holds seem to work better than holding on to the driver as they allow an older passenger to manage the space between passenger and driver. The allow for example the passenger to move their hands in behind the drivers back on deceleration to avoid bumping. On acceleration they do pull a bit more on the driver. Overall it's a better experience for both passenger and driver though. I'll point out that, unlike the ridiculous photos for all of these various harnesses, I would not use this thing without the passenger in full riding gear. My son wears a full face ECE approved helmet (not a bicycle helmet), motorcycle body armor, motorcycle gloves, over the ankle shoes and abrasive resistant clothing just like I do. Just common sense. My son was at first reluctant to ride with this thing and after a few questions I got to the bottom of his concerns... visually it reminds him of the Baby Bjorne infant harness we had for him when he was a baby and he was afraid that people would make fun of him. After explaining to him that riding without was not an option and that we could sew a patch on the back of it he was fine. In the end people don't say anything about the harness but instead comment on his body armor so we haven't needed to sew on the patch.

Awesome.
Love it. My daughter loves riding on the back of my road glide. With this and the tour pack she feels and looks secure.
