These gloves are ok, and for the price I really didn't expect anything more. Despite this, I just can't bring myself to give them more than three stars. I bought them for use in historical rapier fencing with the SCA, and they are not really holding up after a couple months.The fit is not bad, though one of the thumbs was longer than the other. The stitching though was definitely not the best, and I had to repair one seam that came out, and another is letting go on the back of the hand.The leather is pretty thin, and the top of the cuffs are made out of what I would classify as "leather seconds" with gouges in the flesh side of the leather, which just makes them look wrinkled all the time from the outside. I have also torn a hole in one of the cuffs, by it getting caught against an incoming rapier thrust from an opponent. Not really the kind of abuse you'd see in normal cosplay use, but it does speak to the weakness of the leather.The color also bleeds a bit, and after I take them off from a practice session, my hands are slightly yellow. The staining on my hands doesn't last long though, and is gone after showering.All in all, buy these if you want a decent pair of gloves for a costume, but don't expect them to be perfect. I can't recommend them for fencing, or other hard use though, they're just too thin, and the stitching won't hold.

I mis-measured my hand circumference as 6 inches when really it was actually closer to 9 inches because my tape measure was upside down...whoops! So, I ordered a Small, but it actually fits really well! My hand circumference is 8.75 inches and a Small is a perfect fit. I will say, if it were any smaller, it'd be a pretty tight squeeze but this works out really well as I did want the gloves to be as form-fitting as possible.As for quality, they are really nice as well (I got the red for a halloween costume). They feel really nice, and are fairly soft and flexible. Great product, but you can get away with a size or 2 down on their size chart.

Hey guys these gloves for cars play events even some big Hollywood Ashton parties well just got costume parties I don’t know about the Hollywood part but I got to say I got mine and I actually rubbed some hand lotion into him and softened them and they actually are very soft leather now and they fit fantastically I got a medium size hand not a small one for a man but a nice one and they fit very well but like I said I took a nice quality brand of hand lotion and rubbed into the leather palms and fingers made him super sore and actually makes it look like the leather is real well I hope I was able to help you make an informed decision these gloves get 810 set of stars not a five it is not a waste your money take it from someone who’s been doing cosplay for a couple of years and making some mistakes these gloves are not a mistake Buy them! They were just delivered. When I took them out they appeared to be thin but they are genuine leather and are well made. I got them for a costume and they will work great. The hand width fits well (large mens) but the fingers are a little long. No problem as I know how to shrink leather to fit. They did not knock on my door when they delivered them and was surprised when the tracking said they were delivered and handed to resident. They were not. It took a while to be delivered as well but that is due to this stupid corona virus.

Arrived much sooner than expected but with a popped seam. Were the material damaged, I would have returned it. I need these soon so I sewed the busted seam back together with minimal fuss.Leather is incredibly soft, a bit like a thin deer skin so not as sturdy as the pair of cowhide yellow work gloves I dyed brown for sword fighting. I'm using these as dress gloves so hopefully they last a long while.The brown color is close to House of Andar brown boots, in case anyone was trying to color match like I was.

Review title says it. These gloves are actually really nice. They feel sturdy and are good quality. They’re made out of real leather and my hand feels comfortable and pretty warm inside them. I ordered a Small and Medium to see what would fit me better. The bummer is both pairs are too large on me. I used the measurement chart to fit them to my hand, which is about 8” around (although my fingers are a bit short). I wanted to leave a review because I’m sure they’ll work great for someone with a larger hand. I wish the company made the same glove in a smaller size.Only thing I’ll note is I ordered both the Small and Medium in Brown. The shades of brown are different. The Medium is a more reddish brown, the Small is darker. If either pair fit it wouldn’t have mattered much to me, but maybe it would to someone else.Also, these definitely seem like more of a costume glove. I ordered them for a Halloween costume. You could maybe get away with wearing them as a winter glove, but I’d look elsewhere if their primary use will be keeping your hands warm in the winter.Hope this review is helpful to someone!

Got the red in Large, Measured at 8 and got a large since I have long fingers and nails sometimes. For a girl I have big hands so I always need a large or extra large depending on maker. They are a true Christmas Red thanks for knowing your colors other vendors do not always. VERY HAPPY with them they are beautiful and feel great on!
