I made sand globes with small shells for my granddaughter when we were in Florida. Glued it shut. She loved it. Wish I had a photo. Sorry.

Worked great for what I needed them for. I will be buying again. About the size of a softball. Nice thick plastic.

This was the second DIY snow globe I purchased to recreate a cherished glass one that was shattered. The diameter of the base *was not* as stated in the product description and did not fit the music box base of the original. The plastic retainer ring was too large. However, the threads on the globe are the exact same as the retaining ring for a "regular" Mason canning jar - which fits perfectly into the music box. So, if you are trying to 'make it fit' - try this.

Bought these for making sand globes for our grandchildren and they each enjoyed putting sand in and adding sea shells we collected at the ocean. Seems sturdy and hopefully will last for them a while.

Very nice at first until they started leaking. Even with using my E6000 and hot glue gun, there seems to be an area of the kids that aren’t flush to the track so my snow globe completely leaked out overnight. Pretty disappointed.
