Worked as advertised and not expensive
I used the Pro Expedition Sled for a 4 day snow camping trek into the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area of California last March (2019). I modified it with a harness so I could pull the sled behind me. The sled and contents weighed about 75 lbs which isn't a lot of weight but the sled was sturdy and followed easily. I would suggest waxing the bottom to make the pulling easier. Good Product well worth the price

It worked
I modded this sled out with 10 eyelets, 550 cord, carabiners, 4 kayak handles and a pull rope. That made it work as a pulk sled. 20 bucks walmart kayak handles, like 10 bucks for 10 steel eyelets, I had ropes already and a bunch of carabiners, and you still come out on top with total cost compared to other sleds. Minus the pulk poles, which i highly suggest you make because they're expensive. Also, if you have to ride down a hill on it as i did it, counter steers.

Misleading but sled is fine
This listing is misleading. The sled it fine. It's just a piece a molded plastic. But the pictures show poles for pulling the sled, which are not included. How about you delete those rather that luring buyers into thinking that ordering from you is a better deal than other vendors of the same sled? Should be reported.

I looked in the 'pulk' arena because I never like buying anything twice and most recreational sledding options seem ...
Unlike most reviews, I was shopping for an incredibly durable sled for pulling my kids and the occasional hill. I looked in the 'pulk' arena because I never like buying anything twice and most recreational sledding options seem to be made for one or two winters. This sled is definitely built well out of a thick plastic -- almost like a roto-molded kayak. Fit and finish is good -- overall great quality! However, I think the price is just a bit high for what you get. Its imported from Canada so no real surprise there. The sled tracks very well, but I found that it gets off balance very easily in deep powder. Pack it well and you should be fine. For my uses, the sled needs some modifications. Kids slide all around in it so I'm going to try a bedliner in the back. If that doesn't work I'm going to find a way to rivet in some buttons and fabricate a canvas or cloth liner with some padding for some seat stability. Overall, I gave it a four because it comes shipped without a box. Meaning: it showed up on my doorstep with a label affixed to it. While I acknowledge that this is an outdoor product, I don't like getting something that looks used. Because it was shipped without a box it already had some wear and tear.

If it lasts half as long as the Expedition it replaces, it's still a WOW !!
Just received and matched it up to our former Expedition 'cargo' sled; looks to be an exact replacement, maybe a hair thinner on the material thickness. But if it last half as long as the Expedition it replaces, it's still a WOW !! Why ? Simply because the old Expedition lasted at least 24 years. Before someone asks how do I know 24 years, because my son last used it as a sled careening thru our woodlot when he was about 14 and he's 39 now. The old Expedition toted firewood over grass covered ground, towed behind a tractor. It toted the same firewood from the stack near the house over lawn, bare ground and macadam driveway, sometimes snow covered, sometimes not. It has hauled bags of top soil, peat moss and whatever over the same terrain. It often twisted in rebellion over the load we put in/on it, but a couple of bungee cords kept everything in place. Simply, it's a tough workhorse. Why is it being replaced. Because we can see thru the bottom in places. And it's time to send it to the stud farm. It has definitely earned retirement

Do not buy for sledding in deep snow
We bought this for sledding. We get deep snow here in Colorado, and this toboggan does not track correctly in deep snow. It is probably OK to pull along for ice fishing or hunting, but riding down a hill is problematic. The exact problem is that the nose is not shaped correctly. When you lean left, the toboggan goes right, and when you lean right the toboggan goes left. All the other high quality sleds we have owned will turn in the direction you lean. This is the same behavior you get on a bike, skateboard, wake board, airplane, sports kite, etc. Basically, every riding thing on Earth that is designed right will turn in the direction of the lean, not opposite. I imagine it will work ok for sledding on hard packed snow or ice. As long as the surface is hard enough to keep the nose of the toboggan above the snow. Aside from this sled turning opposite from the direction you lean, it is VERY sturdy. It will probably last a long time.

great sled-UPS lost first two orders
yea, it arrived! Took three attempts (different sellers) to finally get it. UPS lost the first two. Very excited. It is light weight to carry, yet sturdy to carry supplies.

Great... just bought another
Best sled in the neighborhood. Got a small crack after 3 seasons of hard use. I think it was a teenager and a jump that did it. Bought another immediately. Ski wax kicks it up to a whole other level. Highly recommended.
