The narrator has Alzheimer’s.
Bummed that the narrator apparently forgot how to pronounce the names but the story is still amazing. I think I’d have rather had a new narrator than listen to this guy get further into his senility. Oh well. Still fun!

Still Good - Love the series
I am reading/listining to the whole series. So far, this is my least favorite - Too much detail on Lords so skipping through some of it

The narrator created pirates and leprechauns.
The story itself is wonderful. My one star is because the narrator is not so wonderful. His inflections for each character are one of two things; a drunken pirate or a squeaky leprechaun. To listen to him makes you think every character is from Ireland or maybe Scotland. Also, the names of some characters are pronounced incorrectly. I purchased the audiobook book on sale for $12.99 to listen to at work to refresh my memory of the book which I read a few years back. There is NO WAY I would pay the regular price to listen to this narrator turn everyone into pirates and leprechauns.

Confused....
I've read all the books, but I swear I don't remember the part where Tyrion and Arya become leprechaun pirates. Will have to re-read...I bought the audio version to be able to use the Whispersync feature with my Kindle app. It works fine, except every time I switch to audio and Arya speaks (in an unequivocally male voice, btw) it sounds like her next line is going to be "Yarrrrr! Wherrrre be me Lucky Charms?!"

Worthy of the series.
A good read.

Disappointed compared to the first three books.
Loved the first three novels. Works of art. This one, however, just drones on and on. There's so little action, just hours of what feels like filler. Dotrice seems to be phoning it in as well here, having abandoned the consistent character voices he used for the first three novels.
