My original review said:I am totally in love with these socks! They fit perfectly and are just the right thickness. Very comfortable!(I am usually a sock cheapskate, but I paid full price for these socks. And they were worth it!)An update:I bought a second package of these socks. They were packed very differently from the original socks, but still seem to be exactly the same socks. But some of the new socks twist around my foot while I am wearing them, which is annoying. And a number of the older socks, after just 2 or 3 washings, are developing holes in the diagonal seams on the sides of the heels. For what I paid, these should have lasted longer.So, the socks are still super comfortable, but I took off a star because they are getting holes so quickly.I've attached some photos. The wording on every sock says Ohne Gummi which is German for Without Rubber. I am guessing that in English we would say that the socks are latex-free.So:Pros: * Super comfortable! * Looks great! * Did I mention comfortable?Neutral: * Seems to be latex-free.Cons: * Not durable. * If these socks were durable, the price would be okay with me. But I'm sorry to have paid this much for socks that aren't lasting.----------Updated November 28, 2018: I bought one package of socks 4 months ago and the other 5 months ago. By now most of the pairs of socks have at least one hole where the diagonal stitching on the side of the heel has come undone. The few remaining socks are still very comfortable, but overall I am very disappointed. I'm downgrading this to three stars because the socks got holes so quickly. I wish I could find socks that are this comfortable *and* that would last!

I bought these for my boyfriend and he is very pleased with them. He has feet that get sweaty and stink easily and these seem to help with those issues. As they are more office socks and rather thin, we were concerned about their durability as he's been using them daily for trekking and working in fields, but the quality looks great even after a month.*UPDATE* We've been trekking through Australia for the past 6 months and the socks are still holding up great! Still no holes and still comfortable.

I ordered three more boxes of these socks. They are an excellent option for men who need nice quality dress style socks. The are plain and comfortable, ideal for everyday wear with jeans or a suit.Be warned: they wear out very, very quickly, even for dress socks. Probably not worth ordering as they really wear out after only a few washes.Because of the plain appearance, I decided to order three sets this time, allowing me to hopefully get a bit more life out of each set as hole inevitably appear in one sock or the other.

I loved them when i got them. Super nice packaging, nice colors... comfortable, nice fit.I wore them 5-6 times each, only indoors with covid, until holes appeared. I bought them a couple months and unfortunately they are all in the trash already. DONT BUY

What I loved best about these socks, other than being 98 percent cotton, was their packaging --they came in a cute box, rolled with small paper bands, no plastic at all. Wonderful! Would definitely recommend to others.

My husband works in retail management and is on his toes pretty much all day. His shoes and feet would stink after a long day at work. It was so bad that we had to either carry an extra pair of socks if we had plans of going to somebody's place after his work or he would have to come home, wash his feet and change his socks before going out. Since I gifted him these socks,it has been a wonderful experience for his feet and his shoes. He obviously still washes himself when he gets home but it doesn't suffocate me anymore. I feel like this was more of a gift to myself. His shoes and feet don't stink anymore. I would highly recommend it to anyone who works hard (or doesn't, I don't really care) and has to deal with stinky shoe problem.
