Alpinetech PL12MS 12mm 1/2" 12V LED Metal Signal Indicator Pilot Dash Light (Single Arrow (Green))

They are great. I love how they look, and dealing with these folks was easy. First time around, I bought the smaller version, but it was easy to swap for the larger ones. Right now I am hoping I can find an incandescent version, or a bulb to replace the LED, for the alternator light. It seems the Sprite's alternator would trigger until the engine hits 3,000 rpm. I figure the voltage drop across an LED is too much.

I initially bought the key indicators (turn, high beam, low fuel) for a custom dash project. The quality was so good I decided to add two more I was unsure about (battery charge indicator and seat belts). These are going to work out really well and will complement my custom gauges nicely. I am using the polished stainless pieces (the also come in black) which complements chrome gauge bezels perfectly. Lights are bright enough for daytime use. Hope they really are dimmer-friendly since the question asked on that subject got mixed answers (I will update once I know for sure). I did see the one review with a photo of a messed-up gas pump image. That is a shame - hopefully the supplier would replaced that one without issue. Mine are all perfect - no flaws.

I like the indicators and they were the right size for my application.

The fit and finish are good enough for me to keep them in my Cobra. The outside looks good. The led on the inside is not well centered, so I had to manipulate them and use some hot glue to keep them centered. They’re bright enough and do the job just fine. I would not be very surprised if I had to replace them in a few years.

It started out simply enough. I made a custom dash for my 73 F100 and ran across these while looking for an oil pressure indicator light. I ordered one, got it installed and have been very happy with it. It looked so clean that the other, solid color indicator lights I had installed previously looked ghetto in comparison. I then ordered a charge warning light, fan indicator lights and a high beam indicator light. Again, super clean looking but something still wasn't right. I thought, maybe more lights would help. So I ordered more, including turn indicator and brake warning. At this point I have like, 12 of these lights on my dash, which is simply too many, but I couldn't help it. I'm half tempted to order a check engine light, just because I think it would be funny, but this would be ridiculous, right? I don't need one. There's nothing to hook it up to where it would function as intended. But I probably will, because it would be super clean. In short, these are nice. They look great. Just know that if you buy one, you may end up with way more, wondering what happened.
